My fiancé's teeth gets stained fairly quickly after a cleaning at other places (they said something about his salvia that stains them faster), but so far, his teeth are still clean after Dr. Chung cleaned him. He always asked if I'm comfortable and apologizes before he's about to do something that would be a little painful. The teeth cleaning wasn't as bad. I also had my cavity filled by Dr. Chung. Besides the pain from the numbing needles, everything else was painless. I was petrified with the numbing needles, but that's just me. He's really friendly too. Everything is very clean.

The problem I have had, is, the hours listed on his website, on Yelp, and on the outgoing message that Heidi recorded, seem to be invalid, as I called 3 times during what should have been listed business hours on a Monday, then, left a message, and had no call returned. On Tuesday, I decided to drive there as I don't live far, listed open hours start at 9AM, I was there @ 930AM, office was totally dark and closed. Back in the fall of 2018, I tried to make an appt, left a message, nothing was returned for over a week, come to find out when they did call back, I was told they were closed for vacation with no change of outgoing VM message or a sign on the door. If I do get back in, I need to have a sit down with the doc and ask him to do better, and also I have noticed there's no emergency contact # or routing to a service off hours as well, which is usually desirable since dental emergencies come up for people.

Then, she proceeds, begins and keeps saying "oops" everytime she hurt me, I kept squirming and trying to move my face away, she was not taking the hint to stop! She was digging into my teeth with that lil sharp thing and making me bleed even more, at some point she got the sharp tip of the tool in my bottom teeth skin and tugged it saying some "oops" again. She did that for a whole twenty minutes until the dentist came in and she sat there trying to finish the job. The girl never finished my service and just gave me a bag with a toothpaste and a brush. Right after she walked to another co worker and just started talking about their personal lives in front of other customers. I was not gonna make this review but I've been in pain since that day, at first it started like a sensitivity thing but now, I have a couple of teeth that are irritated and makes it hard to swallow or eat, does not go away with anything. If she was a beginner or trainee then she shouldn't be unsupervised AT ALL. They should focus more on who they hire and the work they provide rather than painting those rooms.

But at the same time, I only visit him a few times a year and I can't personally fund his payroll and expenses with the little business I give him. Alas, he deserves a review afterall. I have seen Dr. Schneider for several years. I also saw his daughter when she was part of his practice. I've always had a great experience with his staff (and the doctors themselves) and continue to return because of them. It's important to note that I am a terrible patient. I absolutely hate dental visits. I hate the noises, the smells, the tastes and the fear of POSSIBLE pain (since everyone knows that extreme pain always flares up on weekends!) I am an anxiety-riddled person the minute I sit in the chair until I leave. He and his staff handle me well. I had a same-day crown a few years ago from Dr. Schneider and honestly it's the best fitting crown I've ever had. I appreciate that he's gentle in his work (not all dentists are!) and conservative with his recommendations of treatment. He may recommend redoing old dental work, but there's a reason for it. And he tells you why, repeatedly. His practice is so busy he doesn't need to create reasons for you to spend your money. I appreciate his staff is forthcoming with fees you will pay before work is done. Insurance in general (ESPECIALLY Dental insurance) is tricky. Their upfront conversations allow you to plan and make choices. Also, Dr. Schneider has a sunny disposition. He sees people in pain every day, and still manages to be friendly to all of his patients. I can't shake that weird tooth smell when you walk in though. When you're in the chair, they've got a television on the wall as well as a television on the ceiling so you have something to look at when they're working on your teeth. They've also got a variety of good music playing throughout the entire office. Everyone is super nice. Even though my family moved practically an hour away, we still continue to go to this dental office!
