With guests staying upstairs and temperatures climbing to 83 degrees Fahrenheit upstairs, I texted Precision late Saturday night through their website. They responded quickly, and dispatch called me Sunday afternoon. Tech Randall arrived around 5:45 PM (he drove from the Logan, West Virginia area but regularly serves eastern Kentucky customers). He was extremely professional, personable, and knowledgeable. Randall diagnosed the problem in under 2 minutes -- a faulty capacitor affecting both the heat pump and compressor -- and had it fixed within 10 minutes. Their charges and fees were reasonable for a weekend emergency service. This was especially important to me because our system was installed in 2016 by another company and has had ongoing issues with mode switching (heat to cool) and poor upstairs cooling performance for years. Randall and Precision gave me confidence that I have finally found a reliable, long-term service partner.
