Pinnacle martial arts offers multiple different styles of classes It's a great variety and the staff will take the time to explain all the options to you. The staff was friendly, parking was easy, and the instructiors were great. The uniform Was cute and well made. My 4 year old took their little dragons class he had fun and the instructors were patient and enagaging. The facility was nice and clean. The only thing I didn't like about pinnacle was the pricing it was a good amount higher priced than other options I had considered. I am not expert in how much martial arts classes should cost. This was just way over what I thought a 4 year olds classes was worth. I have multiple kids and and they had options for all of them but they weren't even close to affordable. read more

If this business is still owned by Owner/ Master Instructor Erick Larsen, he is one of the finest instructors in the industry. He instructs on knowledge and experience, which he comes with a lot of actual experience. He is morally solid, thoughtful, passionate and patient. He has been a student of the field with multiple accommodations, victories and examples of successful students. An absolute sponge. If you have the privilege of his instruction, you will receive the newest and most efficient/effective training with old school, foundational basics like respect, honor and courtesy. An amazing family gym, full of great instructors. These guys are the real deal at both Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu, and Taekwondo.

Family operated and positive attitudes with staff members. This school offers three different categories, BJJ, Kickboxing, and Tae Kwondo. I have trained for 23 years and seen many elite and beginner businesses in martial arts, but this school has everything you could ask for in an art. Master Larson has such patience with the "Little Dragons" something that would drain my energy as an instructor. He keeps them focused and dedicates his time to every child, not just one. The children have great attitudes and determination, along with focus while they are in class. They offer a two-week trial period for $29, not a bad deal. This offer is for anyone. The class attendance during this trial is unlimited for both arts they offer! I not only would recommend this Do Jang, I signed my son up for as long as we are in Washington. Maybe I will have to get back into Tae Kwondo, definitely would like to help them when the class seems large for their staff. read more

So I've been training here over a year and my jujitsu has noticeably improved, I'm a 43 year old truck driver by day and I train just so I don't Succumb to the sedentary tendency's that happen to truckers. Since training here I've competed a couple of times and even managed to win my first gold medal in jujitsu. They have really cool seminars with Interesting people and the members of this school are really nice people that you can safely role with. It's great for beginners but if you want more intensity its there if you want it. Master Larson is a really good teacher as well as professor Wallace and all the other coaches and Teachers. They have a Taekwondo Program then I'm planning to enroll my son in when he's old enoughThey also have a bunch of judo guys that show up and it's been interesting to train with the judo guys. I highly recommend the school and really enjoy training here to me this place is literally therapy mentally and physically and these guys treat each other like family. read more

I took my first kick boxing class here last night. It was amazing, of course my arms and legs are a little sore but I loved every second of it. I was thrown right in and I felt a little bad for my partner who was very experienced and had to be stuck with me, other than not really having any one walk you through sequences and steps I loved and will be going back for my other two classes. I signed up online when I saw a three classes for 20.00 bucks and free boxing gloves!! Which is a total deal. I have yet to find out what the prices are for after the trial offer is up, no one discussed that with me when I came in for my first class. So we will see ‍ read more

We are still new to the gym, but our daughter loves it. They do a good job at really teaching them fundamentals of the sport while letting them be kids in little dragons program. Price seems to be a good value. read more

Family owned and so friendly. There is great encouragement from the instructors and this is the first time my daughter has loved any physical sport before. Master Larson is an excellent teacher and really works well with all ages. They have four of their own children and teens who are all into both Taekwondo and Jiu Jitsu. I'm thankful we enrolled our daughter and am looking forward to all the progress we will see. read more

This place is clean, beautiful and the atmosphere is just amazing. The instructors are great but more than anything they are incredible with the kids. The personal care and training to each kid within the class is outstanding. Finding this place for my kid was a blessing because i see how my kid enjoys it, respect the teachers and the sport just within a few weeks doing this. read more

My 5 year old wants to be a ninja turtle, so I asked a few friends with martial arts experience where to go, they all suggested Pinnacle. We have been here for a few weeks now and I can't express how grateful I am for Morgan and Master Larsen. They are great with the kids, they demand respect while keeping it fun. After doing a decent amount of research on the programs and gyms in the surrounding area, I finally decided on attending pinnacle. Reasons: Pinnacle is a Marcelo Alonso ( www.mabjj.com ) facility which means they are second to none when it comes to BJJ, honor and integrity. After asking around it became apparent that Master Larson ( head of the south hill facility ) had/has a vested care and concern for not only his fighters but his everyday students as well. He is truly interested in seeing everyone under his roof succeed not only as fighter and martial artist but as human beings as well. That being said, I train with pinnacle for MMA and can personally vouch for the academy as being a top notch, "class A" facility. I gave 5 stars for the following: -Cleanliness -Structured classes -Freedom for the fighters to practice after classes -Demonstrable patience by the instruction staff ...etc... In short, everything a martial artist could ask for and much more. Pinnacle can be and is a second family for many of its patrons. I can not say enough positive things about this place... read more

I did some training overseas, and with my pending return was desperately looking for a good Dojo so I could continue my training. In a nice stroke of luck my wife passed by Pinnicle, and so I looked them up on line. I was apprehensive about signing up for a dojo without visiting first; however, they offer a great introductory deal and so I jumped in to give them a try. What a great experience it turned out to be. I walked into the dojo with a bit of experience in kick boxing, and senior rankings in other traditional martial arts, so I knew what I was looking for. Pinnicle did not disappoint in any way. I'm reasonably fit for a 48 yr old male, and wanted a good workout with my martial arts training. The kickboxing class provides a world class workout along with delivering great technique and coaching from the instructors. I also got involved with the MMA and Jujitsu essentials classes, and those were fantastic as well. I really needed help with my ground game, and Pinnicle provided that expertise to guide me in the right direction. I say guide as part of martial arts training is self discovery and Master Larson, along with his staff, allow for plenty of self development in technique and character. Sadly, due to accepting employment out of State, I had to stop training at Pinnicle. However, I thoroughly enjoyed my training at that awesome dojo, and will be back once my employment elsewhere is concluded. read more

After checking out several other business I signed my son up for Taekwondo here at Pinnacle. There was never any pressure to sign up. They gave us the facts and let us try out the program on a special they were offering. The teachers really focus on helping the kids. They are positive and strict. My son has been there over a year and he loves it. He loves it so much he does kickboxing along with Taekwondo. He never whines about going. They are a family run business that inspire its members to be good members of the community. I highly recommend checking this facility out if you are looking into martial arts for your children or your self. read more

My son really enjoyed going to Pinnacle, great instructors and wonderful environment. My concern is with the billing practices and customer service. Prior to enrolling I made sure we would be able to suspend our account because my son has other activities that he needed to take time off for. I was told that all I needed to do was let them know. The first time we were able to suspend our account without problems. The second time, they started our account before we returned. I wasn't too concerned, but then my son decided not to return. They wanted a thirty day written notice. I emailed them, and got charged the next month! It turns out that the email address they use to email their clients is not valid to email them a reply... who knew! When talking to them they did not care, and held their ground. I would not recommend them based on their poor business practices. Having to pay 2 months when we are not attending is not a fair way to treat clients. I had hoped my son would return. I can't support a company that STEALS from their clients. And that is what this is. If we had asked them to start our account again, that would be one thing. I support paying thirty days, although I do not remember agreeing to that. But once they knew we wanted out, they are choosing to steal the second month. We told his instructor, and were not told to put it in writing, several days later the owners wife called us and told us to email them. She should have clarified not to reply to their emails. But we did it right away, she did not tell us we would pay another month! read more
