Don't ask because I won't tell you which companies due to the day and age we live in. But one went through the quick approval process for the mortgage and said sorry but you don't qualify due to the minimum credit score required for your application. I knew this wasn't true so I said ok fine. Talked to the next company that we liked and after about 3 weeks they denied us through an email not even a call. Next we had a family member advise us to call KIM RIDDELL AND REGENCY MORTGAGE. Kim Riddell told us up front that we might not qualify but we at least will know what is wrong and I meaning Kim would tell us what to do to fix it and about how long before it gets fixed. We started the process and were denied; my wife and I of course got depressed. But Kim said don't worry that was the automated we are not done yet. At this point as she says "she rolled up her sleeves" started to dig into why I was denied. She found out the reason I was denied we went through a few weeks of calls, and emails. Paperwork requests signatures explanations of what was happening next etc. After we gave Kim the paperwork she requested in an timely manner we were preapproved. You heard me after being denied twice recently and as many as about 4 to 5 times over the course of 5 years Kim got us pre-approved. But the hard work wasn't done and everytime I mean everytime we had an question via cell phone or email kim called us back in an very timely manner. We eventually found the house of our dreams went through more paperwork and closed late last month. ALL BECAUSE OF THE HARD WORK KIM RIDDELL and the fact she said no if you are going to deny these people I want to know why. If I can ever do business with Kim I would in a heartbeat. I can go buy snacks from a city gas station 3-6 hours from my home address without a flag, but cannot go down the street from my house to purchase a firearm without a full decline. So much for ammendment rights. But someone could run off with it in providence RI and buy an entire gas station. Here in NYC I made a booking with the card, went to the hotel with the card that was already charged up front partially by the booking and it gets flagged. After waiting an hour on the phone I get to go through the account verification twice that's also in ear shot of everyone so that's secure, only to discover there is A daily 15 transaction limit on any purchase you do is which is ridiculous, especially when hopping from train to train. Their staff tho kind are super limited. what's funny is as a plumber I'm expected to be on call in an emergency 24/7. st Mary's claims this but when I needed to get home via the train my account got flagged on a Saturday and no one could answer their automated emergency phone system. I kept getting redirected in circles. I will gladly be ending my account with this bank. They can charge $30 for over spending but can't get me home with my own money

I have used their website to transfer money to/from my TD Bank checking account. I like TD Bank also. When we wanted to refinance our mortgages, Bellwether customer service recommended switching to a 15 year fixed mortgage with a very low interest rate. The remaining 26 years at 8% fixed rate at Citizens became 15 years at 2.5% fixed rate at Bellwether. Yeah, I'm happy with that. 15 years doesn't seem like forever. And they trust me to pay my property taxes and insurance (no escrow account). It was annoying to send the tax bill to Citizens every year and beg them to pay the property tax on time. Once they lost my bill and found it 2 weeks after the due date (I wrote a personal check to the town when I suspected my letter with the bill might be misplaced). Citizens reimbursed me, so we were cool. Citizens has some really nice people there, it's just too large a company. That's just my experience with Bellwether from 2001 to current day. Your mileage may vary.
