    My husky

Came to visit this park since it's close to where I live and after my first visit it will definitely be my last. I brought my 10 month old Siberian husky here and right when he got in and started playing and running around he got attached by a larger dog! At first I thought they were playing until it got really rough between the dogs and my poor little husky was on his back looking so helpless. I ran over to help him while the other dog owner just laughed about it! Get your freaking dog! Some people should not be dog owners if they don't know how to handle them. Not only was he attacked but the park it self is so small. It seems like it's just someone's backyard! If high want to go to a dog park I suggest going to Point Isabelle by Costco in Richmond! Now that's a dog park!

Started coming to this park when I moved to the area a year ago. Been here a couple of times to be able to rate and review. Have two yappy little dogs that love the open space and green grass. There is enough distance from the large dog area so that the littles like mine don't get fixated on the big dogs. There's a couple of benches, plenty of water bowls, a water faucet, poop scoopers and bags. Ample parking and good shade when it gets a little hot.

You know he had a great time when he leaves this dirty!

My dog Frankie loves this place! He's a small dog around 17 lbs and he loves to play in both the big dog and little dog sides. On weekday evenings when we usually go, there are always a few dogs on either side. Frankie is a little ball of energy and I come here often to let him run and socialize to his hearts content. It's also a nice way to unwind after work, watching the dogs play and enjoying the scenic park and surrounding hills. Every once in a while someone will ask us to leave the big dog side because their dog is aggressive towards little dogs, but for the most part I feel comfortable with Frankie playing there.

Great place for a picnic BUT, beware of poison oak!

LaLa will NEVER go to pinole dog park again EVER!

Great dog park but the wrong address is linked to Yelp. You end up going way up into the hills and up a private driveway.

So if you bring your dog here I will more than likely be saying hi to the little cutie if I'm there. Many places to go by the water if there's too many people on one patch of land. You never have to go far to find some more water here. There's a little canal type area that's now drying up!! Has a boat loading dock but it's no longer usable in this area , to be fair I'm not a boat expert but I don't think there's nowhere near enough water ( at least when I was there ) to get a boat going LOL. Always a great time when you go here. It's not much but me and my family used to always go here. Now that one of them is gone it's really a treasure to go here. So much walking space , I just took one of the many paths this time. So many seashells and other beachy stuff along the shore also. Family's always have a bunch of fun here even though there's no swimming allowed. Not many sea animals or anything that wash up thankfully! Means they are doing well :) ! So many beautiful seashells and sand is everywhere. There is paved areas to walk on , however not every areas paved. Thanks for reading hope this helps !

And this preserve is even more hidden because one end of the main trail is right off a residential street and the other end pours out into a cul-de-sac in the same neighborhood. I started at the bottom of the preserve off Conestoga Way where the trail winds itself into a wooded area and climbs up a hill toward the ridge. It wasn't challenging to scale, but the area was full of bugs and poison oak. Just be mindful until the trail starts widening as you veer right onto the ridge. This is where the vistas come into play, and I could see both Mt. Tam and Mt. Diablo from the same ridgetop. That marquee view was short-lived though, and unless you're headed to Pinole Valley Park, the ridge trail was rather sparse and exposed for a good stretch heading east. A coyote was lurking on the path, so I waited for it to get bored so I could move forward. I ended up at the end of Coach Drive where I was suddenly walking amid the relatively well-to-do houses of El Sobrante. All told, the trail was about 2.6 miles. No big whoop. RELATED - Up for a hike?
