I did the splatter room here and had such a great time. The staff were super friendly and explained the whole process really well, which made it easy to just relax and have fun. The space was clean and organized, and I appreciated that they had everything ready to go when I arrived. They give you protective gear (which you definitely need!) and you "gear up" before walking in by wearing a mesh suit, hair net and cover your shoes too but you can take them off and just slide on their "socks" they give you . Once you're in there, it's just a blast--literally throwing paint on the canvas, the walls, and maybe a little on yourself too. It's messy in the best way, and weirdly therapeutic. You can also use their Alexa to play music of your choice and make it a fun vibe and have your own mini party. I really liked that you get to take home your canvas afterward, it's such a cool keepsake. You wait 24 hours to come back and once it is fully dry you can take it home. It's not something I'd do all the time, but for a creative, out-of-the-box experience, it's totally worth it. Highly recommend if you're looking for something playful and a little different to do in Gainesville. I love that they have so many options such as acrylic projects, string projects, painted glasses and other DYI experiences. You can set an appointment and come in at your reserved a lot. I'll 100% be coming back and already want to try one of their other DIY experiences! read more

Pinspiration is a cool book for creatives to get together and have fun. It's suited for all ages with a good selection for art projects of different mediums/materials. I booked the VIP room for a sip and acrylic point event for my department, and Eve (Eve/Eva? I'm sorry I can't remember now!!) was incredibly patient and helpful. They were able to explain to me the process and answered my questions well. They were very accommodating to our varied work schedules. During the event, the staff was very helpful and even helped us with blending colors to achieve the ones we wanted. They helped with suggestions but also left us space and time to hang out and enjoy our time without being intrusive. They were very responsive and helped me pick up all the canvases upon completion and load them in my car. Overall, everyone had a really great experience, and we love our artwork! I'm booking another event with them in August, and they've still be incredibly helpful when I asked to make modifications and had more questions about the process. Only suggestion is to have more hair dryers for the acrylic pouring!! read more

My family and I had so much fun doing splatter art. We traveled 3 hours and it was well with it. We called ahead and all their spots were actually full but we were told that if we could be there by 10 they would open early for us! They were all ready for us and had everything set out. You get protective gear, the option to tape designs onto your canvas, then go into a room where you throw paint at the canvas! We also chose to do alcohol coasters, which was so fun too. My experience here is not like the reviews I see. The ladies working were very nice. We signed up for candle making and that was such a bust. The price is crazy and it's such a fast project it wasn't really fun. We were there maybe 15 mins and we couldn't take the candles home as they take a day to cure. I could buy a candle anywhere even bath and body works for cheaper than making the smallest one they offer here. I didn't find it fun and our instructions to us got messed up so our nice jars got wax all over them messing up the top because we didn't get instructed to put the wick down before pouring the wax in. I wouldn't even try anything else out here. I would just buy diy kits myself next time! read more

What a fun studio! They have year-round as well as seasonal projects, all within the ability of anyone, regardless of artistic talent. And you HAVE TO do the Splatter Room at least once! I was looking for something fun that helped avoid large crowds for my boyfriend and I to do. I found this neat place online and I knew instantly it would be awesome! As soon as we arrived we had our temperature checked to insure that we were not showing any signs of the virus. I really liked this extra safety step. We came in on a Thursday at 2pm and there were no other guests but us, so it was like we had the whole place to ourselves! I liked the calm and quiet atmosphere of the place. I think it's great that they offer drinks and snacks. Very friendly workers, they were super polite and accommodating. We had so much on our paint splattering adventure! They offered to let our paintings dry overnight, but since we are from out of town we just decided to come back later that day and pick up our creations. They were almost 100% dry and that was awesome for our car ride home. I would highly recommend the paint splatter experience to anyone, it was a great way to release some extra frustration and create something unique at the same time. read more
