It was good last year. However, today, the prices were misleading. I could not find what I needed and told the cashier that and she said that type of plant were everywhere - I tried explaining. I'm getting cut off, eye rolls. I also had to get home and couldn't wait for her dismissive attitude.. Even the employee watering the plants did not know the names of plants that had no signage. Sooooo I walked out and this little blond hair employee started talking about me to the next customer. I HAD TO GET Home! I had an appt I to get to. I'll change my review with an apology. read more

Good prices for annuals ($1.19 each or $11.99 for a flat as of 2024) and a large selection of perennials, annuals, and hanging baskets. This is a huge store so it's easy to spend several hours or more here browsing everything that is available. Banotai Greenhouse down the road is fancier but Pinters has much better deals. I prefer shopping here or bargains on plants and flowers. read more

Big selection of flowers. They have so many from top to bottom, from aisle to aisle, left and right, right to left. The only issue I have is that the flowers are very dry and crisp. I feel that the blooms have bloomed to their full potential and once I take them home it won't last. Other than that a nice selection but I would prefer to shop elsewhere . read more

I stop here all year round to decorate the outside of my business in downtown Ypsilanti, and now that I have moved an hour away I still drive all the way there to get the best flowers and plants! Always extremely friendly and laid-back when I make my purchases. read more

Always purchased flowers at the Redford location. Selection and prices are very good. Mr. Pinter is a very nice and helpful fellow.

Stopped in really quick after a strawberry picking excursion and was pleasantly surprised. I had never really heard of this place before but the allure of $8 hanging baskets made me literally do a u-turn after I passed and head back. I had been looking for some baskets for my yard but everywhere else had them for more than I wanted to spend but $8 (or 2 for $15) sounded more than reasonable. Inside they have had a few greenhouses with flats of annuals, some perennials, and loads of hanging baskets (including a beautiful fucsias variety that I'd been looking for since seeing them at a garden center in Saugatuck). They also have some cute lawn decor (pinwheels, ornaments, wind chimes, etc) and fertilizer, plant food, and such if you're looking for that sort of thing. Not sure if it was just because it's later in the season or if they're like this all the time but the prices were GREAT. I will definitely be popping in next spring to check out their annuals before I plant my garden. read more

Horrible staff. Disinterested in anyone and no people skills. All that the woman was interested in was closing the shop 5 minutes early. Wasn't very happy to open the door which lead to perinnials 4 minutes before 7. We asked to open and she did just waiting to see when we'll get out. Such poor skills. Greenhouses are one of those places I can get lost for hours and spend my entire paycheck. Pinters is no exception! You can walk for hours throughout the lush greenhouses full of flowering plants and vegetable starts ready to burst forth with yummy goodness. I always buy tomato plants here because they are healthy, disease resistant and produce box loads of 'maters! I also bought several hanging baskets which were gorgeous and priced fairly. Their staff is friendly and willing to answer questions about planting and recommend the best variety for you. Pinters is another one of those great local businesses that supports the community. Anyone who buys their plants at an impersonal big box store should be smacked with hose! read more
