Unfortunately, the floral designer was dismissive from the start. When I explained that I wanted a corsage to complement a bright pink dress , something white with light pink. She immediately wrote down "white rose corsage w/ silver" without letting me finish or discuss options. She rushed ahead to the bouquet before I could clarify anything. Hoping to circle back to the corsage once she seen the bouquet inspiration photos I had so both would coordinate. When I showed her the reference photo, she responded, "That has lilies. I am NOT ordering them for this." Each time I tried to speak, she cut me off or talked over me. When I reiterated that I wanted something similar to the photo, she put her pen down, looked at me, and said, "You don't want that. You know that bouquet is over $50 alone," in a tone that felt unnecessarily condescending. Instead of asking out budget she just talked down to us and insulted us. Within just a few minutes, she refused to consider the flowers I requested, dismissed my preferences, and made comments that came across as rude and judgmental. I ultimately walked out mid‑conversation because it was clear she had no interest in working with me. Instead of insulting someone about the cost of a bouquet, perhaps ask their budget next time. As I walked out she told my husband "most people don't want to pay that" justifying what she assumed was expensive for us. We then left and went a few blocks down the street and easily ordered the corsage, bouquet, fifteen centerpieces, and two display arrangements for the graduation party with no issues at all. Westland Florist lost out on several hundred dollars in business due to this designer's unprofessional and condescending behavior. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this location for anyone looking to order custom floral arrangements. If you want basic grocery store looking pre made arrangements you'll be fine, but I think there may be limitations from what this designer can actually do When you want customized items.

The arrangement--a white cross with greens and red roses--was absolutely beautiful, even more so than pictured, and was delivered on time before the service. It meant so much to the family that they chose it as the only arrangement to bring to the church for the funeral the following day. My original order preference was not available because of seasonal changes (very understandable), they contacted me right away to explain the situation and proceed to design another arrangement. There was only two white roses in an arrangement supposed to be mostly roses. I called 1-800-flowers and they immediately apologized that the arrangement didn't look as nice as it did online, and refunded me. Honestly I didn't need a refund, I just was surprised it didn't look like what I expected. I never asked for a refund. But the worst part came afterwards when the florist at this shop was calling and harassing my friend (the recipient), instead of contacting me, saying they were going to come pick up the flowers because they weren't going to be paid for, and leaving someone who is going through a hard time already, in a confused and frustrated place. The tone in which this employee spoke with us was completely unacceptable. She ended up telling me that no one should go through 1-800-flowers (then why does your business partner with them??), and made the whole situation completely my problem for using this website. Again, why would 1-800-flowers issue a refund to me if they weren't going to pay the small business? All I wanted was for my friend to be left alone, and for the flowers she had to be kept by her. So even though I was disappointed by the cheap looking arrangement they put together, I paid them separately. The whole experience was unbelievably poorly handled. Don't use this florist, there has to be better options in the area.

When someone is sending flowers to an ill loved one at the hospital I don't expect sympathy or even any sort of emotional support. However I do not expect to be given such a hard time to order flowers. I called the hospital they confirmed they accept deliveries from this very florist DAILY. She insisted they only take flowers on certain days = WRONG. And also insisted the flowers on Lily's web page did not come in a green vase, what I was seeing was green stems in a clear vase = WRONG (see picture). I hope I never have to send flowers to the hospital again, but if I do I will not be through Lily's.
