This was such a great place to stay! In August 2023 I was headed to Yellowstone to surprise my bestie on her 70th as she was passing through the area on a road trip. Her husband and I schemed for months to make it happen. I drove from Northwest Washington to Anaconda. I picked PPH to stay for the night, solely based on photos, etc. It was GREAT!! The location is safe, very clean and easy to find. Everyone was really friendly and the accommodations are perfect for traveling through. Now, I'm planning a cross country trip with my 78 year old hippie aunt. I'm planning to stop here for a night so she can experience this great hostel! I didn't get much time to explore Anaconda, but what I did see was nice! read more

this was my favorite Rod find on my whole trip. It was very cozy and friendly. There were lots of CDT hikers there, and they offered day use of the amenities, as well as overnight. Comfy bed, great showers, and the kitchen is awesome! read more
