If I had any questions they were always courteous. They never seemed to lose patience with someone who had only rented a car once...years ago. They gave our family a ride to the airport to save an extra $25 if we had dropped it off at the airport. How nice! It was a very good experience and I would recommend them to anyone.

For example: Requiring a three-day rental when it's obvious the place is not rented and could be rented if there was any flexibility regarding a two-day rental; all the money up front rather than a deposit or a payment plan; rental contract sent via email, but then followed up by multiple phone calls (one per day) if you don't sign it right away, regardless if your actual rental is a ways out; requirement to call for check-in instructions rather than embracing 2019 and just emailing where to find the key, etc.; making check-in at 4 p.m. and check out at 10 a.m. (srsly what?); being militant about the WiFi to the point of not trusting the customer enough to get it by making the password something I won't reveal here but is basically an instruction you'd give to your dog about what isn't allowed; a closing email about how you need to check out at 10 because a cleaning crew may arrive at 10:20 (totally false, fyi). We rented a lovely cabin, but paid too much and had to deal with an inflexible (at best) management company. I don't do a lot of reviews, but this was too much. Stay away.

I seriously felt more like I was housesitting for a friend - all the comforts were there. It didn't feel stingy or sterile or manufactured like so many 'commercial' lodgings frequently do, and the ones that don't cost more than twice what the Wilma Condo charges. Everything was modern and nice, but with an eye everywhere to practicality and treading lightly on the environment, which are big pluses with me. A lot of things that didn't need to be provided were: quality soap and shampoo in the shower, nice cotton towels and bedding , and a kitchen ready for your gourmet imagination. Did I mention the fantastic views of 270 degrees of Missoula out the huge windows?! The owner was more than accommodating, especially as I'm one of those 'canary in a coal mine' fragile flowers that could drive your average proprietor crazy. An adjoining unit hosted a large dog, who barked at length several times one day, anytime it could hear someone in the hallway. The owner acted immediately when I notified him of this, getting the dog's owner to intervene - problem solved. There were also a few bumps with check-in and check-out, which he handled with grace and generosity. I am going to offer a few caveats to the uninitiated and sensitive folk out there. While you can take these as dings, they are not intended as such, and I don't consider them the owner's fault. The issue is really one of inappropriate mixed-use of the building. The street on which the Wilma is located, Higgins Avenue, is one of the busiest in Missoula, and seems to draw a lot of hollering young folk and large diesel pickups driven more like urban boomcars. Think twice if quiet is especially important to you. Also take stock of what concerts are slated for the Wilma during the time you plan to stay in the condo - bass-heavy music like hip-hop is audible through the *entire building*, even eight floors up. I was assailed by two nights in a row of this, the second night well past 11pm.

Inside the cottage is a well-equipped kitchen, great bathroom with a deep tub for a relaxing soak, and a comfy Sleep Number bed. Just select your comfort number and drift off. Kris has a great selection of information for sightseeing, antiquing, outdoor activities, and restaurants. She is also a phone-call or text away for assistance. I loved my stay! I am now subtracting a star because two and a half years later the rental agent takes issue with my four-star review claiming that I am "inaccurate." There are no inaccuracies in my post. We had a great time although we have several small quibbles about the property manager which kept this from being a five-star experience. I even left out the part about how the website says "pets allowed." When we arrived with our dogs the manager was SHOCKED. She actually told us to keep our dogs inside so the owner of the house who lives next door wouldn't see them. Dogs inside in July in Montana? Are you kidding me? (We did keep them up on the deck most of the time because there were lots of deer and we did not want to disturb them). If the website is as detailed and accurate as you say it is, it would have specified a pet policy other than just "pets allowed." It didn't. It still doesn't. This is on you, not us. As I said, it was a beautiful home and a fabulous location! It was money well spent. But the rental agent lacks communication skills and is not overly adept at being hospitable. The pet conditions were vague. If she didn't tell us to take our trash then she has really poor communication skills because both my sister-in-law and I heard her say to take our trash. And no, it was not clear that ALL the bedrooms in the house had twin beds and the only queens were together in the loft. (How does anyone expect to rent out a vacation home with such idiotic sleeping arrangements if they are described accurately?) It is too bad that this business owner denied my comments had any validity or were even accurate. A smart business person appreciates a four-star review especially if it has a bit of constructive feedback. Anyways, I do not appreciate being POKED for giving a four star review. Upon reflection, perhaps my review WAS inaccurate. I have revised my star rating accordingly. I was (not) surprised to see that the size of the Trout Bum portfolio has been drastically reduced to five properties. The house we rented is no longer being managed by them either. And if you look at their five star reviews, every single one of them is from a user who wrote their review shortly after this date and have written no other reviews ever in the five ensuing years. "Fishy."

My experience with Plum Property Management was extremely disappointing and frankly feels…read moredishonest. After moving out of my 816 sq. ft., single-floor apartment, I was told by the inspector that cleaning would take an estimated 6-7 hours. Somehow, I was then billed for 10 hours of cleaning with no reasonable explanation. The cleaning company of their choosing failed to provide any detailed, itemized report showing what was actually cleaned or how they justified the extra time. Being charged for additional hours without documentation is unacceptable and raises serious concerns about their billing practices. What's even more frustrating is that it took three months of back-and-forth communication for Plum Property Management to ultimately tell me they would not be refunding the extra 3-4 hours they charged. Dragging this out for that long, only to deny accountability, shows a clear lack of professionalism and respect for tenants. I would strongly caution anyone renting through this company to document everything and be prepared to challenge questionable charges. LOOK AT ALL THE OTHER REVIEWS and how they mention unreasonable charges after move-out. It is sickening how this company takes advantage of people.
