Amazing! Not sure where to start!! Our family of 4 spent the week of Thanksgiving '24 here at The…read moreRanch at Rock Creek and had a culmination of experiences that would forever be remembered. We flew into Missoula and spent one night at a downtown hotel before making our way to the ranch. From the moment the RC driver met us in the hotel lobby to the time we were dropped off at the airport we were impressed. The experiences at RC was totally awesome. Each time we would head out with our private guide we embarked on an unforgettable journey. We started off as a family doing the UTV tour of the ranch. Absolutely beautiful and serene time! One of my favorite experiences was the respite by the creeks edge. The staff had made a fire for us, placed some hammocks out, some games and books on our picnic bench. This was of course accompanied by a great bottle of wine and a charcuterie board! Our kids did some fly fishing while mom and I relaxed that afternoon. All of the facilities are top-notch and there is a ton of detail at every turn on this property. Some of our favorite shooting experiences were the rifle range and revolver shooting course with our guides Karson & Robert. The food at RC is an experience in itself and as good as you can imagine. We were lucky enough to meet the new chef Zach and he is truly passionate about his work! His first meal at the ranch was nothing short of amazing. Each dish was absolutely incredible & ultra tasty! The entire staff was so kind and attentive to us which we truly appreciated. Many thanks to Candace to making sure everything was perfect for us! Emily our breakfast server was so kind and thoughtful in the way she greeted & served us each morning! Brett was our dinner server most nights and he was always a joy to be around. He was also quite fast on the 5k Thanksgiving day but not quite as fast as Reed! Overall we had a some incredible expierences and plan to return to RC in the near future!

The accommodations demand first class status, along with the food and drinks deserving loud applause. The activities were enjoyable and the staff were very knowledgeable. The equipment, including all necessary clothing, were of exceptional quality. After dinner, we had fun at the Saloon where movies, pool, and bowling were offered. This is a 5 star resort in all regards. It is worth every dollar spent. In fact, I would say it is a bargain. We will be back.

Fairmont Hot Springs Resort - Heard these were great I'm allergic to shellfish. They looked amazing.

Something is seriously wrong with all the reviews of the Fairmont Hot Springs. The pools are epic!…read moreThe water warm or hot which ever you choose and the pyramid buildings are rad architecture from the before times. The people who leave one and two star reviews must have beef with the owners. That is the only explanation. Sure, they add a $20 resort fee to their daily rates, and they may surprise you with an additional charge for your kid. But even then, the rate (when compared to paying a day rate at another hot spring plus a night in a motel) it comes out even. And while staff is surly, from my experience they get that way from continually reminding people who can't follow the rules what the rules are. Again and again and again. It would be enough drive anyone crazy. Yes, there are too many kids screaming, spashing and throwing footballs and balls to their dad who is standing way too close to you for comfort. But the water feels good. The recently renovated rooms are fine. Ours had a fridge and a microwave and features well made beds, nice comforters, lots of pillows and a beautiful view out to the mountains. Do not be afraid. The Fairmont is fine.

Not only is that not helpful, but the lack of urgency or basic customer service was pretty wild. Access to your building shouldn't depend on timing it between arts and crafts sessions.

The room is spacious. I like the blackout blinds are fantastic and makes the room nice for sleeping. The continental breakfast is as to be expected from BW, not special. They let you make your own fresh waffles at least. Some maple syrup would make it a bit better. The croissant is doughy and fluffy. Not carb worthy. My husband was happy to discover the wrapped roll was warm and was a breakfast burrito filled with eggs and sausage, he had wished he had discovered it our first morning here. The fruit is a bit off, the cantaloupe more than anything. The water for the tea is not hot and looks dirty and has little black chunks at the bottom of it too. We found out the key doesn't work for our room after 11am, the following day. We had to go back downstairs to get it registered. Kyle at the front counter indicated that Brad didn't register the key long enough. Fantastic. The room is comfortable and quiet, probably because we are in the middle of nowhere. The kitchen or breakfast staff are super warm and friendly, the front staff are just there mostly to check in and our guests and that's about it. The water pressure for the shower is on the soft side and somewhat weak. The Coffee odd very basic on the room. The Anaconda smoke stack park is down the same street as the hotel. You could walk there from the hotel it's that close.
