The tacos here were incredible. Get the supreme. 2 tacos and a coke... about $10. So good.

I love Salvadoran food, and I was visiting my mother in Staunton, so I knew we'd have to check it…read moreout! Since the weather was nice, we ate in the outdoor section. Didn't get an opportunity to see the indoor section of the restaurant. The server was very friendly, but they were very busy and it did affect speed of service. In terms of beverages, I ordered horchata because I always order horchata. I have yet to meet a horchata I didn't like, and this was no exception. Sweet and delicious. I ordered birria tacos and a loroco pupusa. The birria was tasty and savory, as to be expected. Like most people, I dip my tacos in the broth because it's delicious. The loroco pupusa was really cheesy, which is a plus for me. All in all, this was a great place and I look forward to going back to try other items on their menu.

All of the pupusas were delicious - perfect blend of crispy and gooey. We had the chorizo pupusa, bean pupusa, and queso pupusa (which was our favorite). The queso pupusa paired wonderful with the red sauce in the bottles on each table. We also had the pupusa ranchera, which is a chorizo pupusa topped with a fried egg. This dish comes with fried plantains and rice & beans on the side. The entire dish was wonderful! The plantains were perfectly cooked.

El Pope - Burrito grande. There was a sweet-flavored sauce or something to it and it wasn't the best. But the steak was great!

I truly enjoyed how fresh and flavorful everything was. The chunky salsa is delicious and I wanted…read moremore. Papuans 10/10 best ive ever had and mad that I only got one. I wish I would have gotten more over the shrimp tacos however the tacos weren't bad but didn't live up to other things. The shrimp were pretty big and grilled. Hands down going back for papusas. Best meal I've had locally in a min. The restaurant is very relaxed but it was also lunch time. No one greeted me. Had to walk to the bar for service and seat myself. Aside from the that the server was really nice. It's just an old school hole in the wall joint.

Amazing Latin American restaurant! My partner and I both got their steak offerings with myself getting a steak chimichanga and him getting a steak burrito. They were both oozing with flavor, we both made audible "yum" sounds as we took our first bites and then laughed at how this food made us have a cartoon moment. The fries and beans sides were also good although the fries were our favorite, the menu doesn't offer this as a side for meals but our server was able to make the substitution. We left feeling super lucky that lovely family restaurants like this exist and that we got to experience their food. Can't reccomend this spot enough, they truly care about what they are putting out and it shows. If thats not enough to convince you they also give you free chips and salsa!
