Have the Tres Leches and two Tamales. They were excellent; but I was disappointed that the pupusas were gone.

Delicious and freshly made pupusas. The staff were very kind and friendly. Will definitely visit again when in Culpeper.

Pupusas are incredible! Our favorite was the cheese pupusa. Baked goods galore, many different choices.

Highly recommend this place. Excellent authentic food and outstanding service. Not sure which is better, the baked goods or the papusas

Amazing food I get it all of the time very authentic and clean it definitely is a hidden gemread more

Was in the area with some family. And it was dinner time and I was in the mood for some food. Never…read morebeen here and didn't think to come here everytime I've been near it until last night. I was walking nearby and a group of guys passed me and walked inside. And for some reason at that particular time in the moment In that very second it hit me. Go check it out. Let me tell you all I'm glad I did. I went in scoped the place out thinking get something. Try it out, yelp it. I watched the guys order these soup bowls and I looked at the menu above behind the ordering station with the cashier. They guys ordered soup dinners instead of burritos or tacos I thought, ok must be good I was thinking. It looked very authentic on the menu. I walked up and wanted to try something simple and small not a soup yet had to peak my interest with the taste buds ya know what I'm saying. So I was wanting a burrito, I asked the cashier gentleman questions what goes inside, how is it, what's it come with like sides and all. He told me asked me what meat I wanted for the burrito I was ordering, I said ground beef, he said they don't have that, closest thing would be the steak. I'm not going to lie when I heard no ground beef I was going to say cancel on my order and I was going to leave. I was upset, hearing no ground beef as an option. But I stood there with the thought get the steak option that he offered, do it. Just do it. Say it. And I did, I kept the ordering going. I ordered the steak meat especial burrito. And omg it was fantastic! I fell in love with this place. I definitely recommend this place. If you ever walk into a restaurant and are not up for taking chances, well screw that, break the boundaries take the extra step surprise yourself. You may be shocked and confused on what you have missed. You may actually find something that makes your taste buds happy. Enjoy take a leap of taste. Wink Wink

What a find, Yelpers didn't let me down on this one. Five stars for the food and drinks. Perhaps…read morethe best pupusas I have had in my life. Order at the counter indoors and then they will bring the food to your table. The pupusas were on point! Perfectly seasoned and cooked. We tried the zucchini cheese ones and it was the perfect match. Their zucchini is finely shredded and gave flavor without the usually wateriness. Warning: their margaritas are huge! We got one "Texas style" which we were told is a margarita made with lemon and orange. Sold! We sat on their "patio" which is the front porch. Ambiance is not amazing with old card tables and folding chairs but it was decorated with Salvadoran flags and lights and TBH we didn't care with such a great meal.

It's a one-block kind of town, not the place you'd think to go for Central American cuisine. The building is on the older side, but they've done a nice job with it and it has some charm. The menu includes pupusas and various other Latin American cuisine, notably possessing a vegetarian section. Notably, they have a time set aside on Sunday afternoon (which is often when I'm eating at restaurants) where they are apparently in pupusa prep mode and say that these delicacies may not be available. However, I dropped in just after 5 and they told me they were good to go. The classic options they offer were well rendered here. A queso loroco, which the menu explains in detail, offered large flower buds and a strong flavor contrast. The accompanying sides of pickled cabbage and sauce made for a typically dynamic flavor experience. And the great thing about ordering pupusas is that you can really get the size of meal you want. Three makes a good meal, but you could just get a snack, or add an appetizer. It's a good thing to search for, particularly if on a road trip for a region that is very pretty but not overwhelmed with diverse culinary options.
