This is owned…read moreby author Louise Adrich and has an awesome selection of her books and other books by indigenous authors as well! This is a great place to go if you want to find unique items or books, but they do also have many main stream popular books too. The childrens section of the store is also really amazing and whoever designed it rocks! there are really awesome childrens books and a spot for kiddos to hangout and read. The staff are really nice and helpful. Prices are typical of most bookstores!

This spot is a nice fix closer to home with super cute home decor made out of found objects and antiques. I found most of their prices spendy, but I am more of a do-it-yourselfer/ crafty type. I still found lots of great ideas! I even bought an old pill bottle and have a list of a few other items I will go back to get, budget willing. My Mom got a peony type flower made out of old sewing patterns! Super cute! Our other fave ideas were old coffee carafes as planters and Ball jars painted metallic! So it is literally right above the Bibelot and next door to Sebastian Joe's. Karen Lang, the owner, greeted my girlfriend and I and she was very welcoming. You will find a variety of different gift ideas here by local artisans. I picked up a leather key holder but there are baby clothes, handmade jewelry, Muddy Mouth greeting cards, hand-stitched ties, Love Your Melon Beanies (that raise money for kids with cancer) and much more. There is also a great selection of refurbished and hand painted furniture. My girlfriend was interested in a dresser and mirror that was refurbished. Still, my most favorite record store I've ever been to anywhere! Moved to California 30+ years ago and every time I'm in town I gotta take a peek and do that whole nostalgia trip in my head-if only the walls could talk, OH MY! I love the creaking floors as you walk across the showroom remembering those sounds heard in the basement packing my own orders to ensure in stock items were shipped. The cast of characters that visited and cool musicians- one day Devo came popping through handing out 3-D buttons with those flower pot looking things on their heads and strange jumpsuits. "It's not too late To whip it Into shape Shape it up Get straight Go forward Move ahead" my daughter wore my old jacket from 1979 (in picture) . The nice staff were very friendly and enamored with the jacket and the manager took some pictures which gave my daughter a huge tickle. I think the cat's name is Bob Fuchs and he's been there since the late '80s and a good ambassador of the brand and so kind to indulge us. This is a must visit if you're ever in Minneapolis set aside some time it's worth every minute!
