Please note...this review is for cigars only. I'm giving the store 4 stars because I don't want to hurt the overall rating for a package store for cigars. I no longer drink so asking me to rate a package store on liquor selection is likely not the best or fair. Selection looked good and there was a sampling going on. I noticed cigars were advertised on the website and not being a huge fan of the competitor up the street, I decided to check this place out for cigars. I was not thrilled with the selection. There is a VERY small cabinet which contains their limited supply of cigars. So if you are in a pinch, are willing to settle for what choices they have, and need a couple of sticks it works. If you want a box or your usual stock you may be stuck going to the competitor. read more

If you're Air BNBing in the Plymouth area, pick up your alcohol where there locals go: Pioppi's! A short ride from downtown, their wine selection is quite good and their prices are reasonable. While not a big box liquor store, they do have small handcarts you can use to collect your selections and transport them out to your car. read more

Wide selection with helpful staff. How times have changed.

New to Kingston/Plymouth area. Have been here a handful of times. Great Covid procedures . Am a bourbon drinker who also loves a great red wine. Pioppi's is great! They have a vast selection of beer, liquor and wine. They have a great beer selection here and you can always find something that will taste great. They even have a bargain bin where you can get stuff for as little as 1.99. Tons of hard liquor here including sake. Lots of different wines from all over the world. They also carry some home brew ingredients if you are into that. They even have simple kits made up for various types of beer like Belgium wheat, pale ale, porter, etc. Its all packaged nicely in a box for around 40$. No need to measure stuff out, and it includes bottle caps. The staff here is super nice and extremely knowledgeable on what they sell. They can help you find the perfect cocktail or booze to enjoy your day. read more

This store was great, the beer selection is decent and it was a must stop. Tonight, however, I was disrespected by one of their employees who is named Nate (who I have dealt with on multiple occasions in the past) and i find that unacceptable. I recently lost my ID and brought my passport, which was refused by said employee "Nate." Store policy, ok fine. I get it. I tried cracking jokes and brought up the fact that the guy knew me. Nate was rude to me and made me feel stupid in front of a bunch of customers as he carted off my beer selection. I am done with this place. Never again. Nate is a coward. read more

Great liquor store - the best in South Shore area IMO. Huge selection of wine, beer and liquor. Great humidor full of cigars. Very friendly staff. I live in Duxbury and we lost power during Hurricane Irene. No one else had ice but Pioppi's was open and fully stocked. Great customer service. That closed the deal for me. Pioppi's is a really good Package Store that has a really good selection of wines and beer. When I've asked the staff if they have a certain item they always take the time to find out when it may be in or if it has been discontinued. I like how they'll chat about why a certain item is good and what it is good to mix with. They know what they are talking about! Prices are a little bit higher than most places but the service makes it worth it. They even have items to make your own beer and they have a machine you can place your wine (or beer) in to make it cold, colder or coldest! Wicked awesome! read more

Great spot for cigars and liquor. I was in Plymouth, with my son, for a family funeral and stayed at the Best Western. It was raining and we ordered pizza. I had had enough of my son's XBox, so I ventured to the plaza across the street and found everything that I'd ever want. They have a huge humidor and a great selection of single malts. Friendly staff seemed to know their stuff. I grabbed an H Upmann and a bottle of Lagavulin and had a relaxing evening before a trying day. Good place. I'd visit them again. read more
