    Small Meatball

Obsessed with this small meatball pizza. Can't tell you how many times I've ordered it on Doordash the fresh sliced meatballs, heavy helping of ricotta, and perfectly cook crust can't be beat. So I guess this is more a love letter to this specific pizza than the actual restaurant.

Fancy pizza joint! The food here is very gourmet in comparison to your average pizza place. They have apps and sandwiches on the menu too, but the focus is definitely pizza with the giant wood-fired ovens that can be seen towards the back of the place... My husband and I sat at the bar and ordered the griddled cornbread and a "not just the roni" pizza. The cornbread was fantastic!! The savory pulled pork, sweet/soft cornbread and refreshing crunchy pickled onions is a surprising combo that works really well together. We were impressed! And the pizza was delicious! The slices were heavier/more filling than expected. We ate half of the pizza and took half home, which is unusual for us! I would definitely come back here to try other things off the menu :)

Wish we had gone elsewhere :( Sad to say, but The Artisan Pig was a HUGE disappointment. I had high hopes for this place, but it did not impress me at all. Stopped in here with some friends on a Saturday night after enjoying some wine at UVA wine bar. We were starving and wanted something more than just charcuterie. Luckily, we were able to get a table right away. We ordered drinks and apps. Food: For apps. We had their Chicken Wings and Fried Mozz since they were out of Arancini. The mozzarella was not good at all. It seemed like it wasn't even cooked enough. And, don't get me started on the sauce. It had to be out of a jar! Usually, Fried Mozz has a nice brown tint to the outside and ooey-gooeyness on the inside. This was not the case at all. The wings were pretty good, to my surprise. I ordered one of their small Pizzas, "Not just a Roni." The pizza looked better than it tasted. It was soft and soggy; I could barely pick it up and eat it without the toppings falling off. The pepperoni was crispy and better to eat on its own. I know they have these hot pizza ovens to cook good pizza, but I honestly don't know what happened to ours. It was very disappointing! I wish a manager had come over to speak to us about our bad experience. Service: Service was also not great. I take it college kids are working there, which I give them credit for working in the summer months, but c'mon. These kids just don't care. They want to serve and get their money, and that's it. The server we had would almost throw our food and drinks on the table. It was like she was in a rush. I even told her to "please not throw our food/drinks here." It is a shame. I don't even know if the owners know what is going on during dinner time service. Sorry Artisan Pig, but for now we are taking our friends and our money elsewhere!

The Artisan Pig is AMAZING! The food is delicious and there is always something new to try. The cocktails are incredible and they have such a creative selection. The environment is also very fun and is a great place to go with both friends and family. In all of our experiences here, the service has been phenomenal and everyone is so kind!

Would've gone 4 1/2 stars if available. Pizza and service were 5 stars. My top 1 or 2 pizza spots in the area. Service was great. Also got a pretzel - it wasn't good at all. But would definitely return for the pizza.

This may have been an off night but the service was subpar. We got seated fairly quickly but after 20 min we're not evened asked about water. I stopped a server to ask if anyone could help us and she took our drink orders. Another 20 minutes and we do not have water or drinks. Two tables come in after us and her drinks water etc. I watch them pour the beers at the bar and not bring them. I go to the bar to ask. More time goes by before they come out. Now the pizzas were great and I hate that the service soured the experience, but the kids were dying for pizza. They did apologize for forgetting about us bc they didn't know who had our table. I'd give it another go but it wasn't a great dining experience.

Wood Fired Empanadas and House Salad

Hit up The Artisan Pig for our anniversary and how have we not been here before? Well, rest assured after this visit we will certainly be making our way back again very soon! We started off with a house salad (no onions) with the homemade citrus vinagarette dressing. The salad was crisp and fresh with some of the best tasting tomatoes I have ever encountered. The dressing was bright and tart and was a great way to kick off our meal. The wood-fired empanadas had a ground chicken sausage inside them and the red pepper aoli, sweet potato hash and fresh pineapple salsa served with them made for an absolutely dynamite appetizer. For our main course, we split a wood-fired pizza that had Italian sausage, peppers and pesto ricotta (yes, ricotta with pesto mixed into it) and the pizza quickly moved up the ranking of best pizza ever. The crust was crisp and flavorful and the precision put into making the pizza made for a tasty piece of pizza artwork. I can't wait to get back to try another one of Artisan Pig's pizzas soon!

Came for lunch when we stopped by Plymouth for the day. Saw the amazing reviews and just though we had to try. They had plenty of outdoor seating. The indoor dining was clean and open. Very comfortable. Staff members were super nice. Honestly, the reviews about the pizza were right. The pizza was amazing. Especially the classic pizza that we ordered. The hot honey was not spicy at all. I cannot handle my spice and the hot honey was delicious. The dough was delicious! I would stick to their pizzas as everyone else's reviews said. The korean fried chicken sandwich was average. The idea was good though. The wood fire empanadas. were also interesting but tasted ok. Definitely worth giving their pizzas a try!!!

While I can appreciate the choose your own adventure / tasting concept and benefits of moving at your own pace, wine tasting is something where I'd prefer to have more of a personal touch. The storytelling and personal connection was missing, and made the experience feel a bit hollow. The space was a nice open hang and there's snacks and games, and there is staff there, but the experience made me realize I prefer a guided human tour for some things, wine tasting being one of them. Prices also snuck up on us a bit, it's easy to lose count of how many you've had with the card reader. I was also a bit bummed to find that if you liked a wine you cannot purchase a bottle on site. But I'm glad I tried it and had fun.

We got the Brie and Hummus as an appetizer, and it was both sweet and savory. The roasted garlic and raisins were a unique touch. More bread would be preferred. Bread for the table is available upon request, and is sort of skimpy. But honestly, it's probably so your appetite isn't spoiled. For dinner, I got the filet and it was to die for! Absolutely divine! Other people at my table ordered the steak with parmesan fries, scallops, and pear salad. Everyone was impressed. We ended with Espresso Martinis and the Mud Pie for dessert. The pie was INCREDIBLE! I was expecting pudding or a trifle of some sort, but it was actually more like an ice cream pie with heath that just melted in your mouth. My table of 6 shared it. Our waitress was a little abrasive at first, but she grew on us and steered us in the right direction menu-wise. I will absolutely be back!

Winsor is Wonderful!…read more I see that Yelpers do not love Winsor due to the low ratings and reviews but I have to ask why. What I will say is if you read these bad reviews you might be surprised at what people complain about. But, on a more positive note, this will be my 3rd time dining here and everytime has been wonderful (hence my title). The food, ambiance, drinks, etc. you really can't go wrong with any of them. And, the drive there is also stunning. Duxbury as you know is a beautiful beach and golf city with million dollar homes along the way. Cha-Ching! I arrived a little early while I waited for my friend to arrive. The restaurant was not overly crowded which was good for a Friday evening. We sat right near the fireplace which was super nice. When my friend arrived we started with some drinks. Then we were so torn as to what to order so we started with their Tuna Crudo. My favorite since it was super fresh, melt in your mouth sashimi. Yummy! Then we shared a salad which was just ok. For entrees, she ordered the Linquine Vongole which looked good but a huge portion. I ordered Fluke for the first time and although it wasn't what I am used to, I still enjoyed it. We passed on dessert and had coffee with amaro; they have some nice after dinner drinks. All I have to say is go see for yourself that this gorgeous, south shore spot is perfect for any occassion. Or even if you want to grab a glass of wine/drink and sit at the bar, that sounds good too! Cheers~!

We ended up switching the reservation to 7:30 pm which the hostess accommodated. When we arrived, the restaurant was not busy, but they told us they were not ready for us so we set at the bar and waited; not a problem because I am sure they do not have an abundance of staff scheduled. Bar service was great! We were seated after 15 minutes. We sat outside. The food was good; not great, not bad. It was expensive, but I knew the prices going in. The really disappointing aspect was the service. Our waitress had four tables, including us (3 tables of 2 people, 1 table of 4 people). The waitress was kind, but REALLY inattentive to us. I had to ask for silverware three times. I had to stop the waitress after about 15 minutes of waiting to ask if we could put in another drink order, get some water and order appetizers. Part of the pricing of the menu, I assumed, was great service; and it just wasn't there. I did not want/need my hand held, but I expected at least the service I would get at a 99 or Friendly's. I mentioned it to the hostess upon leaving, and even spoke to the restaurant manager when checking out because she happened to be there. I did not want or need anything comped or for free, but just wanted to provide feedback from a first time customer who was staying at the resort. The hostess that night listen to my concern and apologized, the manager really wanted nothing to do with me because they were seating parties for lunch. Again, food was good and the service was just not good.
