Came in for a potential cancer issue and once again had issues with the front office with insurance. My insurance is what I think to be the best in the business and have never had an issue with any other doctor. A year ago I had to pay over $600 due to them not billing my insurance correctly. They have also run unnecessary text in the past that cost even more. I continue to be greeted with the "smirk" on their face and the bad attitudes. This isn't a fun place that women enjoy coming to and especially when there are major issues, it makes it even more nerve racking. Do not go here!!! I have never written a poor review on anything. I am a big advocate that if you don't have anything nice to say, don't say anything at all. It's gone too far with this front office staff!!!

I have been a patient at here for at least 3 years and have never seen the same provider more than once. I have felt rushed through every appointment I've ever had there. They never answer the phone. Every time you call and go through all the automated prompts you are on hold at least 30 minutes if you ever get to speak to a real person. Appointments always run behind....up to an hour. Most recently, I was pregnant and scheduled for my first visit at 10 weeks with a provider there. Less than 24 hours before my appointment I received at TEXT, not a phone call from a real person, a TEXT that my appointment had been cancelled and rescheduled to a different day and a different provider. How could they not have the decency to CALL when they CANCEL LESS THAN 24 HOURS PRIOR TO AN APPOINTMENT? I called to change the new appointment as the one they chose for me wouldn't work. Of course no one answered after being on hold forever so I left a message. A week to a week and a half later I knew something was wrong with my pregnancy. I walked in to the office because I knew calling would be a huge waste of time. I waited until the receptionist took care of everyone else, as I was just a walk in. I then explained they had cancelled my appointment and that I felt something was wrong as I was having symptoms and asked if there was any way that any provider could see me that day, even if I had to wait all day. All I needed was for someone to put the Doppler on my belly and listen for a heartbeat. This woman looked at me and said she didn't have room on the schedule because she had too many walk ins. She then proceeded to say, "You're more than welcome to go to the emergency room." First of all I don't need her permission to go to the emergency room. I'm a grown woman and can make that decision all on my own. I didn't want to go to the emergency room and spend $1000 and wait 8 hours to have someone say, "I'm sorry there's nothing we can do" and send me home. I went to MY OB office because I was hopeful that even if my fears were confirmed they could at least give me guidance. My husband called and left the office administrator multiple messages that were NEVER returned (as of today at least two and a half weeks have passed). I ended up having a miscarriage and had ZERO HELP from this pathetic office. I will NEVER return to this office and I will be sure to let everyone I know what terrible experiences I had there over the last couple of years

Kendra used scare tactics to get me induced because God forbid I go into labor outside of her schedule. They threw my placenta away even though I said I wanted it at my last appointment. Trying to call them is impossible and even being on hold for hours result in nothing. They will only accept a voice-mail and call you back on their time. I'm a first time mom and hated every bit of this. When I was crowning they told me to STOP PUSHING because Kendra was TOO BUSY to deliver my baby when my baby was obviously ready. She didn't think I would push him out in less than 3 minutes so didn't prepare for that. Don't ever go unless Casal himself is the one to deliver. His nurses are terrible.

I called to schedule a new patient appointment and could have been seen the same week had my schedule permitted. However, I had to schedule for two weeks out. Then, the day before my appointment, I had to reschedule but was able to get in the next week - none of this waiting for a new appointment for weeks or months I've experienced at other medical offices in the area. Dr. Puckett recently moved into a new office on N. Highland, which was very easy to find and pleasantly decorated. While there I interacted with the woman working the front desk as well as the nurse, and both could not have been more friendly or professional. I only waited about 5 minutes before being called back. I really connected with Dr. Puckett. She is friendly, engaging, attentive and was very skilled at explaining complicated medical terms and conditions in a manner a layperson could understand.
