I told them the exact pose I wanted including the correlating bird man number for reference. As you can see the photo of the pose that I wanted looks nothing like the pose they did. It completely broke my heart. Waterfowl hunting is my passion and that passion was not considered by Hoosier Trapper. Regardless of the incorrect pose, the taxidermy work itself is shoddy at best, note the incorrect bill and feet colors. I could not even stand to look at it on my wall. Apologies and a full refund were given less than cheerfully, but again I cannot harvest my first wood duck ever again. Waterfowlers save yourself the heartache and find a taxidermist that shares your passion, or at the very least respects that passion. That being said this is the third incorrect waterfowl mount I have received from three different taxidermists in this area. Obliviously whitetail mounts are your main focus but we pay for and deserve quality service from you. If you do not wish to do waterfowl please tell me upfront.
