Salad bar buffet is a must.. There are going to be hit and miss reviews for this restaurant, but I haven't really seen or heard anyone complain while eating here! The original owner is back, thank goodness. Try a Stromboli, salad, alpine cheese pizza... I have been eating here since high school. A rare gem in Muskogee. Service folks here are kind. Well, we may have caught them on a bad night but . . . the pizza was only slightly better than Domino's but so is grocery store frozen. Pizza buffet with 2 slices and 16 customers on a Friday night indicates poor planning. The upside: local business in a good location in the center of Muskogee near a brewery and a nightlife area. What can I say? I'm used to actually seeing vegetables on a combo/supreme. It came with nothing but what looked like beef pebbles. Called them back and they delivered a ham/pine. Is ham suppose to be bacon bits? I don't think so. I won't use that place ever again. read more

Thier calzone is best around as far as I am concerned, it does not have any sauce in it but it comes with marinara sauce and ranch and is my absolute favorite thing to get when I'm craving any kind of pizza. Their pizza itself is not the best you can buy, but it's still really good. We buy extra calzone and freeze it so we have it later because we make the 35 min drive to this place. No it's not fancy on the inside, and could use a little updating but the food is good and the people that work there are just the nicest. Went to eat their buffet with a friend. They don't offer a pizza-only buffet; you have to buy the whole package, which is $6.99. Not too bad. Drinks come separately and are like $1.50 each, as would be expected. They only had two pizzas out on the buffet, and there was apparently some confusion when I asked if they could put out an italian sausage or pork sausage pizza, whichever they had. The cooks had no idea what I was talking about when the frontgirl relayed the message. Kind of embarrassing for them. Their calzone tasted like ravioli to me.. there was no garlic butter to be found on either the pizza or calzone. They also had spaghetti out, but it looked like it'd been there for a while, which I'd believe as we were the only ones in there. I tried the spaghetti anyway and it was very stale. Their salad bar wasn't much to look at. The lettuce mix only had iceberg lettuce. No cabbage, carrots, spinach leaves, ect. They didn't have much of a selection at all either, so I opted to skip the salad completely. read more

I wish Pisano's was in every city! If you are in Muskogee, DON'T waste your money with commercial deliver/ Dominos /pizza hut etc. Pisano's is the way to go. Fresh and full of flavor. Perfect dough which is great tasting and has that elastic good feel that great pizza has. Toppings were fresh and about the best i've had, no blandness here. Shabby and run down, but friendly people. The booth seats (all of them as far as I can see) were so broken in I could only imagine several 400lb people routinely sit un them. We had the buffet. It was rather spartan. Decent enough pizza. An option they had they called a, "calzone", but was definitely, without question a stromboli. However, it was tasty Their Alpine pizza was unique. A white pizza that tasted that there might be creamy Italian dressing on it. Curious as a pizza topping, but it worked. I very much enjoyed the crusts on everything. I've been eating here since I was a kid. I've since moved to live in Los Angeles & then to the Bay Area, but I sure haven't found any calzones as delicious as here. We stopped here when we were in Muskogee for the Bare Bones Film Festival. We didn't know anything about restaurants in the area and picked this place because it was close to the theater. We were pleasantly surprised, just because it was a smallish restaurant in a smallish town! There was a fair amount of variety and the pizza was super tasty. They had about 6-8 different pizzas. The supreme was really good and the white cheese pizza (I think what others are calling alpine, but I've never heard it called that) was one of the best pizzas we've had. I didn't have a chance to try the calzone because as soon as it was put out, people ran up to get some - so I'm assuming it's good! The salad bar was pretty decent. I was disappointed there weren't any black olives and the only lettuce was iceberg, but aside from that, they had a lot of different topping and dressings. They also had a few items like cottage cheese and Jello salad. We went on a Saturday night. The buffet was 7.99 each, which was a great deal, and the fountain drinks were 1.50, which is much cheaper than most places, especially buffets. The lady at the register was very friendly and stopped by our table to make sure we had everything we needed and enjoyed everything. I think this would be a great place to take small groups but I would call ahead for anything very large, just to make sure there is enough seating. read more
