While handing her my I.D. and credit card the idiot security guard reached over the laughable ladys shoulder and snatched my license from the cashier....wtf.....I asked for it back....nope ....left the office to go after the turd and took back my license. After having some security head trying to keep me out. Ha! Long story short the establishment is very nice the idiots representing the establishment not so much. This place is a membership campground so you can't request specific sites if you aren't a member. This park is packed with lots of trucks parked along every street with everyone having fun. Each site is gravel with green belts behind. There is tons of green grass and poop bag stands everywhere. The laundry is $2.50 to wash and $2.50 to dry. There is a restaurant with a bar. You can eat inside or out in front. Nice looking arcade, mini golf, shuffle board, horse shoes and a few places that give you access to the beach. The staff said hello everytime they drove by. We had a great time! Pismo Pier is three blocks to the left and there is a 7-11 across the street. We also went to a cool dinner show called Great American Melodrama. There is a coupon in you map booklet. Good chips and salsa at Old Juans Mexican Restaurant too.

Recently the management has added a lovely person in charge of the office and it is even more helpful to reach if needed. Always a great attitude and eager to help. We are thinking of getting a group together to possibly have a bi-monthly gathering in the entertainment area. The laundry room is always clean and easy to access. The entire park is clean and well kept. I would highly suggest G.G to any person looking to purchase in an Elderly Mobile Home Park. So glad we/she chose Grover Gardens by the beach..... and just in time ~ before the massive heat wave in the desert! :)

It is a large park with some very up-to-date new nicer mobile homes here. They have security a swimming pool gated entrance and a clubhouse. Their animal restrictions are pretty tight you cannot walk a dog in the park you have to keep it inside your yard or take it out of the park to walk it. I know it's because of bad people who don't pick up after their animals Who ruined it for the rest who do. Very pristine clean up-to-date and will a fun place to live for seniors, full timers or part-timers highly recommend it's a great place to live.

Bathrooms and showers are kept clean, tidy, and well stocked which I love. The general vibe of this place is calm and relaxing, so if you want a nice peaceful getaway this is the spot. Recently there have been many renovations. The the creek walls had to be shored up. They added new and longer spaces. They moved the cabins in order to accommodate the RV's better. People who stay here are friendly. The staff is great. They offer free WiFi. And there is a small dog area. They have a great clubhouse here with a kitchen area, Pool table & other game table. There is a small library of donated books and puzzles. They hold group events for the members like bingo & ice cream socials. There is a great bathroom area and showers as well.

But other than that, it was a great stay. We reserved 6 months in advance, and our site was close to the dunes so it was just a short hike to the dog-friendly (leash-on) beach. The sandy beach is solid, so you can ride your bike on the sand for miles, no problem whatsoever. My prior review lists the specifics of the campground. It is a favorite of ours, and we can't wait to come back.

About a 10 minute walk to Pismo pier and 5 minutes to beach access right at the campground. Inside, there are plenty of sites, but many of them are tight--managing a larger rig takes a little patience and precision. The staff, however, made everything smoother. They were genuinely friendly, incredibly helpful, and always ready to assist with whatever we needed. The park itself is very well maintained, and the facilities are cleaned regularly. Showers and restrooms were spotless with absolutely no odors--a huge plus when a park has heavy RV traffic. There's also a pleasant BBQ area with ample seating and an impressively large laundromat. We did run into a few challenges. Over the course of three days, I spent several hours troubleshooting WiFi issues with Spectrum. Their support team was great, but the connection problems appeared to be on the park's end--Holiday's modem or general connectivity seemed inconsistent, which led to too much time wasted. For pet owners, the designated dog area is quite small, so we opted to take our dog to a nearby park about five minutes away. The location, though, is fantastic. You can walk to town, local restaurants, and the beach is just across the street. The Monarch Butterfly Grove is only about 10 minutes away, making for a lovely outing. Overall, despite a few inconveniences, we had an enjoyable stay.

I wish I…read morehad done my research a bit more and booked a larger site, but I didn't realize that our site was the smallest. The campground comes with a picnic table, fire pit, water hook up, and electricity outlets. There's also a restroom that's somewhat maintained, for showers and toilet use. Showers are $1 for 3 minutes, but there are no coin exchange machines, so be sure to bring your own quarters. Also note, that showers are only operating from 10am-6pm. It gets pretty loud at night, with tons of frogs and birds calling, but hey, that's nature! If you're looking to do tent camping, this probably isn't the best spot. Most people around us were all RV camping, and we definitely felt very out of place. Probably wouldn't do this spot again, but it's close enough to a lot of shops in case you forget something and need to go out. If we had more time, we'd probably explore the area a little more, but the campsite itself was okay.
