I like to come here once ina while to get my filling of tasty pitas. The garlic and spicy sauces are the bomb! The service is friendly and the portions are pretty large. I am salivating whilst writing thei quick review.....

    No taste

So bland. I had a chicken shawarma and a buddy had a lamb kabob, both had zero taste. We both wanted it spicy but neither had any kick. Only good side is it the food came fast. I wonder why I used to go crazy over this place back in high school when they were pita nutsy. Either they completely changed their recipe or my tastebuds evolved. Either way this will be my last visit to pita nutso. Do yourself a favor and go to either Osmows or chefs door.

    Large chicken on the rocks

My friend and I got a large to share which didn't take too long and the plate was just full of rice and chicken. It smelled amazing. The pita bread that came with it was very tasty too. There's just something about the way Pita Nutso does their chicken on the rocks that is just super delicious. Chicken was cooked very well, the hot sauce was just right, and their garlic sauce was just a little bit better than other shawarma places.

Had to check this place out after hearing constant raves! I'm surprised that this place was very quiet and it's really hidden in the corner. This review is in regards to the chicken on the rocks, since I'm all about trying and comparing it to other places. First off not bad with the Chicken! It's flavourful, juicy and not dry, rice is good too, fries was not soggy when topped with Chicken. Also, I like how they give you the whole bottle of white saucevand hot sauce to drench your order in. The white sauce was very garlicky, just the way i like it. The hot sauce had a really good flavour but not too spicy. I would say their portion with chicken to fries to rice isnt as much as Lazeez though. Customer service was great! The place is small but there are tables around. If you don't have time to wait around and line up, i say give this place a try! You wont be dissapointed

I tried a variety of the meats and they were cooked to perfection--tender, flavorful, and well balanced with just the right spices and sauces. Nothing was dry, which made every bite enjoyable. Even though it was busy, the service was quick and very welcoming. The restaurant itself is spotless and clearly well maintained. They also offer traditional desserts like Om Ali, knefe, and rice pudding. If you want a more relaxed café vibe afterward, there's a café in the same parking lot run by the same owners with very comfortable seating and even a prayer room. Overall, a wonderful experience that definitely did not disappoint. I'll absolutely be back.

I remember looking over and thinking, "What is this place that's so full of life?" It was bustling with people and had such a great energy. I had never tried Egyptian food before, but I was feeling a little adventurous. I'm really glad I did. A few dishes were recommended, but I was told the Koshari is beloved in Egypt, so that's what I ordered. Be prepared for a bit of a carb coma, but it's absolutely worth it. It was delicious. The mix of pasta, rice, lentils, chickpeas, and crispy fried onions worked surprisingly well together, especially with the sauces they give you. I'll definitely be back the next time I'm in Toronto.

When we had first walked-in, we were surprised to see how small the restaurant was. However, we then noticed that most of the guests were doing take-out as opposed to dine-in. We were able to find a table for four, which was perfect for us. When we walked-up to the front counter to place our order, we were greeted by a kind hostess, whom took our orders without any issue. We then sat down, and watched as our orders were being prepared. We had to wait about fifteen minutes for all of our meals to be ready. We were surprised to see that the margarita pizza had olives on it, despite not seeing it on the menu. However, we just scooped them off since my children didn't want to eat the olives. For the falafel and kabab wraps, we were surprised to see how large they were, and for only $10.00! The kabab wrap (which I had asked for without onions), had two large pieces of kabab, which filled the wrap, along with the sumac and tomatoes. I enjoyed how tasty the wrap tasted, along with how filling it was. My mother also commented on how delicious the falafel tasted. Considering the prices that we had paid, we certainly go our money's worth! The service was also excellent, as we were brought our wraps directly to our table, while the pizza was placed on the table near to our table. Everyone was kind and considerate, making our stay a pleasant one. There were so many menu items to choose from, it was hard to narrow it down. Will definitely be back to try other items the next time around!

I like the 4 in 1 which allows you to sample different toppings at once. It's become my most preferred. The bread is doughy but depending on the option(s) picked, it may fall apart. Service is good. They pump out orders rapidly even when busy. Rarely do they miss ingredients, but rectify those errors. I've dined in more than take out. For a small establishment, it seems to be doing well. Draws in crowds at times. Food is prepped in front of you. Area is clean. Toppings are generous, as are the staff. The washroom is also clean and adjacent to the checkout counter.

You can customize the spice level for the meals. The rice was well seasoned, and I enjoyed their homemade garlic sauce. However, I've had better falafels at other Middle Eastern locations. Additionally, they inflated prices a lot, and it's comparable to the Osmow's close by, which I feel is subjectively better, both taste and portion-wise. SERVICE | The one thing that brings me back to this restaurant is the fact that it is a local, family run business. In these days, I think it's really important to support these small businesses, so I plan to come back the next time I have a shawarma craving! We asked him and he told us that the prices have changed. We asked if he could honor the price on the board as the wrap came up the same but the mixed plate was not even put in as a mixed plate, he had put it in as a chicken plate on the rocks and added the beef, so naturally there was an extra charge. He said that's just the way it is, and it's only a $2 difference. When we asked him for a feedback number, he told us we were being rude for asking about the price difference when it was so minimal and then claimed that there was no beef so we should just take the chicken or leave as he had other customers to attend to and didn't want to serve us anymore. Quite frankly I was scared about what he would do to our food at this point anyways. There were other customers in the line who were wondering what had happened and asked us, he told us not to talk to them. He told us we were free to contact their head office but wouldn't give us his name, or the owner's name or the complaint line. Just said, "you have a phone, go online and figure it out". Then told us that we were free to leave a review online on yelp. Completely unacceptable behaviour to treat customers so poorly and try to flip on us telling us we were the ones being rude for asking him to honour the item and price listed on their board. Will never go there again. Contacted their customer service via online form, no one has reached out and it's been 2 weeks now. Went to Osmosis and got much better treatment and food!
