Thanks to diane pitcher I have my boys, I was hit hard in many ways in custody. First was my youngest sons mother ran off with my son clear across the states agents a court order, and no other court would do anything about it, diane got me full custody within a week of hiring her, she worked on a weekend of a special day to attempt to get him but due to jurisdiction problems it didn't work out, it took her a week to get him where I have already went threw 4 other Attourney in the last 5 years, then after that my other kids mom made false accusations of child abuse, Diane didn't back down she rolled up her sleeves and taught like hell. I want to clarify, my financial situation is superb, it was questionable whether it would be financially beneficial for me to go for child support considering the cost of services and there was no mention of a discounted price as the owner or person responding to my review would have you think. I believe the other parent should pay their fair share and I haven't updated anything for 8 years. Prices were $5,000 retainer without litigation and $1,500 with litigation. I was not provided the "with litigation" cost until 2nd call, final call it was changed to $3,000 after all is said and done. The with litigation became an option because they thought I could be held in contempt over something I explained the first call but they misinterpreted, I had to explain the situation again. The response to this review is petty and insulting presuming I cannot afford your services when it was more of a question as to are your services financially beneficial to me. So when I mention below "fix my financial situation" it is solely getting child support looked at after almost a decade of having it as is. (*ORIGINAL REVIEW*) My initial contact had me excited that I can finally fix my financial situation with child support. 2nd contact, giving all financial information and going over a few scenarios over the phone with Diane Pitcher and email, when I hung up I was left feeling confused from changing information from first call, possibly poor explanation and my misunderstandings. I was asked to try and reach an agreement before proceeding but I had little information to give the other parent and ultimately failed at this. I feel like prices, scenarios and options were all over the place because my case wasn't reviewed well, I had to re explain situations so I could try and come to some sort of understanding with attorney and assistant. Called one final time to try and get clarification and clear this up but again I was given different prices, and vague explanations of my doubts/questions. I appreciate the consistency of returning my calls but I'm not comfortable with the information after consultation. My clear lack of legal knowledge had me spend $150 for this when I was trying google state laws to answer the vague answers to my questions, I found out the state CS services can assist and you pay much less to have this dealt with and no risk of the rest of the custody order being tampered with. read more
