Great customer service! We were given a 4 hour arrival window and our service technician, Joe, was…read morethere within the first 15 minutes of that window (so rare these days)! Joe was very courteous and patient but was able to quickly diagnose our dryer issue. He gave me a quote and said he could repair it right then and there. We need warm and dry clothes so of course we said go for it! Within another 15 minutes, all was fixed and as good as new! Thank you Joe! Your expertise, professionalism and courteous service is an asset to the business.

called Georges appliance repair and explained that I had a under the counter microwave and the…read moreissue I had with the appliance. The gentle man that I was speaking with on the phone said it sounded like the microwave door latches needed to be replaced. When the technician Joe showed up at my house the next day he stunk like a cigarette. He preceded to take pictures of the serial number on the appliance. In conversation I told him that the same Kitchen Aid microwave that I have is currently 499.00 dollars at Lowes . He then told me with out doing any diagnoses that the repair was going to be 450.00 dollars so I was better off just buying a new microwave. He also said nowadays the microwaves that they manufacture are throwaways and that when they go bad you throw them out and replace them with a new one. Now if that is the case why didn't the gentleman on the phone when I called them explain that to me. It seems to me they just wanted the 121.00 dollar service call fee that I paid them. Ironically I looked up on line the prices of the switches and they were 24.99 each. I also took apart the control panel and cleaned the switches and now the microwave door switches work fine. I also wanted to add that we used Georges appliance repair in the past and we had no issues. So we were not a first time customer. When I called Georges after I fixed the latches I got nothing but a lot of crap from the gentleman that I spoke to on the phone.

I had a large "oven stuffer" trussed-up and ready to tan. So, I turn the oven on…read more Approximately five minutes pass... (*sniff, sniff*) "Do you smell that?!?" I open the oven door and stick my hand in the (potentially) blazing hot oven; It's cold. ... The igniter went kaput in our oven. I can't even estimate the number of profanities that flew out of my face towards the oven at that moment in time. Mutha F'ckin' piece a sh*t's gotta pull this kinda bullsh*t on me while I've got a raw-a$$ bird on the counter and dinner to serve in two hours?!?!? Ugh! Now, I cook A LOT; Dinner every day, at the least(!), but usually twice a day, the oven or broiler gets kicked on for one reason or another. So having the oven's igniter mended was a necessity! First place I called was off the Thumbtack app. They weren't going to come over to "Assess the damage and supply an estimate" for two weeks. I said "The igniter is dead; there's nothing to 'Assess'. I need you to replace the Igniter." The man was a dismissive, misogynistic dirtbag. I laughed at him, told him "Good luck." and hung up on him. Second business was ASAP Appliance Repair. Initially, they said they were busy, but then said they could be at my house within the next day or two. If that is their idea for "busy", that's impressive service. They asked me the make/model of my oven and the issues I'm having. I gave the same spiel; It's the Oven's Igniter. The gentleman on the phone ensured me that they would bring a spare when they come out to the house. That made me so hopeful. A gentleman named Craig was the technician that came out to my home. He had every part under the sun in his truck that was compatible with my oven. And sure enough; It was the igniter. After he laid out a protective tarp on the floor below my oven (to avoid damaging the tile, which I found very 'White Collar ', respectful and professional), it couldn't have taken Craig longer than an 90 minutes to get into the "guts" of the oven, yank out the dead igniter, install the new one, and then replace all the guts to where they were prior to the "operation". Craig then took the time to test the oven for me (both bake and broil) to make sure it was in full working condition. Craig did a phenomenal job. I highly recommend ASAP Appliance Repair (specifically Craig, if you can get him)
