First time trying services with this company, as my regular groomers were not available. I was excited to try their Mobile van services (Mondays only) as it was convenient. They arrived on time (9am appt) and my Yorkie was happy to greet them. Services lasted about an hour received a full package and nails. Price was a bit high $100 but was advised ahead of time that the Mobile services do cost more. The groomer was very sweet, and gentle and could tell she enjoyed her job. Woo just woooh... love love the groomers here. I am so grateful that Pitt County K9 Academy Grooming Salon has open their doors in Greenville/Winterville. Nothing like a having a locally own business. As soon as we walk-in we were welcome with huge smiles and I could feel the "zen". Love the fact dogs are able to walk around instead of staying in crates. The salon was spotless, the gray wooden floors makes it feel really spacious and it gives a nice modern touch. The golden pieces of art work adds a balance of elegance for the owners and the dogs. Such a treat to had come 12/22/2018 two days before Christmas Santa was seating next to their lovely Christmas tree. My mother-in-law brings her schnauzer to Holly and Milo always looks great. I live in Charlotte and have been taking our miniature schnauzer to the same groomer for five years now. Being closer to Christmas we missed our window to schedule his appointment before we travel to Greenville. I decided to be adventurous and take Chiple to PCK9A to be groomed so he could be nicely groom, clean, and fluffy for the Christmas pictures. One of the best decisions I made for my doggies. When I dropped him off he made lots of friends, every pup had wagging tales (always a good sign as a dog owner). All the groomers rave on how cute and sweet Chiple was. Of course that added a smile on my face. Holly was so gracious to make room for Chiple on her busiest Saturday, yet, for that I am grateful. Now to my sweet boys hair cut. You can see his before and after picture. Holly did a wonderful job with his schnauzer traditional haircut. My preference it's to leave the skirt,brows and beard long. Chiple's hair was evenly cut. His fur smelled pretty good and he had a cute red bandana. Looked like a cute Christmas present. The prices are reasonable which allows room to tip the groomers for their hard work. We will definitely be back, thank you all for pampering our lovely miniature schnauzer Holly and Lane. read more

Stay away! If you ask that they don't shave the dogs face... you may have a shaved dog - they DO NOT PAY ATTENTION TO WHAT YOU REQUEST. They cut the dog however they want to regardless of what you request. They will ruin your dog! read more

You can expect extremely neglectful care. I picked my dog up after three nights of boarding, and he was covered in pee and poop. None of the staff said anything and they had absolutely no explanation for how it happened and my dogs Notes even said he kept his run clean according to the owner. read more

I was horrified when I picked up my dog! Not at all what I requested. I asked specifically not to have the dog's face cut and only wanted his body trimmed. The dogs face was shaved and body was untouched. Angry and Sad! read more

ABSOLUTELY THE WORST! To start, they try to rush out to meet you when you arrive.... Not for customer service, but to stop you from going in and smelling the horrendous smell of urine and feces! You could actually see the multiple urine puddles on the floor at the front entrance! If we did not have to be somewhere on time we would have either gone somewhere else or just not gone on the weekend trip! We also had scheduled them for grooming... apparently they don't actually brush them afterward. When asked... they stated that brushing was "extra", and they still smelled like dog. Due to the condition of the dogs and the horrendous smell, I asked to see the kennels... they refused. They stated that due to "Covid and construction" that no one was allowed in the back. Beyond suspicious! In addition one dog had been bitten thru his ear and the other had a beefy red eye when picked up and now has a cough. No they did not have the cough or red eye when we dropped them off. Will be taking them to the vet to confirm kennel cough and conjunctivitis. And yes they are both vaccinated. I WOULD ABSOLUTELY NEVER TAKE THEM THERE AGAIN!!!! read more

Megan is the BEST Megan has been doing Gizzie for years. If we ask Gizzie if she wants to go see Megan, she will jump up and wag her tail. Sometimes Gizzie can be a little moody, but Megan is always patient and kind with her. When we pick her up, she looks lovely and smells wonderful. The place is very clean and the dogs get to interact with each other. The smartest thing Pitt County K9 Academy did was bring Megan in to do grooming. We have followed her everywhere for years. My dog seemed scared of the trainers and didn't learn much more than she already knew.

Very friendly staff who obviously loves animals. The boarding and grooming are two separate locations. Went to the grooming location on my first visit for boarding and they were very kind to volunteer to take my pup to the boarding location for me. They also provide a daily report that can be accessed online to see how your pup is doing which was very reassuring. read more
