Wow...what just happened? The Pittsburgh Drain guys were here and did a fantastic job! The underground drainage pipes for the downspouts failed around our 78 year old house, and moisture was coming into the basement. When I called Mike, he came out to give a bid on a Saturday morning. He looked over the property, explained in detail what was needed and how he would do it. The bid was less than I anticipated. Five days later Mike and his crew were here on time and got to work right away. They are a great group of guys, they worked methodically and neatly, personable and not afraid to answer questions. He brought in extra topsoil to slope the grade around one side of the house where the soiled had settled. Double seeded the areas dug up and where soil was added, covered all with peat moss. Mike is a perfectionist, the property was left in excellent condition. I have never written a review for a contractor and I have employed many over the years. I needed a landscaper to put in a french drain due to some water damage that was starting to show on the walls of my garage. They came out explained what needed to be done gave me a reasonable quote (and I had several). They came out on time brought all of the material and went to work and I could tell that they knew what they were doing. They did a great job and even reseeded. I have had no more water staining since they came out and am very pleased with the work they did. They are professional and polite and I don't think you'll find another company to put in a french drain at such a reasonable price.
