I had PT with them several years ago, and it was very helpful with regaining my balance due to lumbar spinal stenosis. Since then, the owner sold the business, and it is now a part of Mary Washington Healthcare. I was critically ill and hospitalized with sepsis for ten weeks last year, and I am still recovering. Recently, I lost a great deal of the strength I had recovered since last summer, as well as gross and fine motor skills and overall range of motion. I will be seeing a spine specialist this week, and believe that my current issues stem from cervical spinal stenosis. I began outpatient PT with Premier about three weeks ago, and I can't believe the improvements I've already noticed. The staff consists of only four people, including an excellent new PT, the same terrific PTA/patient director, the same dedicated support assistant, and the same receptionist/office manager. The receptionist is warm, friendly, and amazingly efficient. Everyone is kind, patient, and intuitive regarding patients' needs, goals, and how to achieve them. I feel like I'm getting a good workout on my target areas each time I'm there, and I appreciate the one on one attention. She thinks about what is needed with my care regularly, she updates my exercises for home regularly, and the time I'm with her is spent exercising, which I like. I have some pretty terrible pain in my face most of the time. I was told my TMJ was bad and I…read moreneeded to get physical therapy for it. I thought that sounded crazy, but I told them I would give it a try. Anything for some relief! I was sent to Jill at Select PT, and she has worked on my face for the last few months. I feel a lot better! She even gave me some info that it seemed like although my TMJ is in fact not great, she thought I may have something else going on, based on my pain being more widespread that TMJ commonly would be. She recommended I go to my neuro and see what's up, basically. I finally got in with my neuro and he said it sounds like I have trigeminal neuralgia, but we won't know 100% for sure unless I go in for an MRI. I have a thing against MRIs. I'm way too claustrophobic for that! He put me on a medication that would help me with my nerve pain, my sleep troubles, and my depression. Jill added some desensitizing techniques to my treatments and I have been in pain less days than I have been in years! I was on a 12 ibuprofin a day regimen for a while, until I felt like I was starting to get an ulcer, so this is amazing! I only have to take motrin a few times a month now, instead of a few times a day. Unfortunately Jill is retiring at the end of the year, but I am being passed along to Dan, who she assures me will carry on her work :) Also, the ladies at the front desk are very nice! You still have to wear your mask in the office, which I appreciate, and you're required to take your temperature with their hands free, no touch thermometer upon entry. I love that they are taking the pandemic seriously, and helping to keep their staff and patients in good health!

Very unorganized. I had an appointment today at 3:30pm and…read morewaited about 30ish minutes to be seen and then sat on a tens unit which does nothing for me. When that was done I waited another 20 minutes to be sat in the drs office while he worked on others that came in after me. 3 other people.... my advice is not to overbook yourself to where your patients are awaiting an hour and a half to be cared for and still leaving in the same amount of pain because all I got was a tens unit....

His approach is aggressive and he ties in some physical therapy to target issues. I only wish my care was covered by insurance because I'd take full advantage of what he could do for me. Your time with the doctor will be about 5 minutes and you will be absolutely rushed through with the doctor seeming to have made a decision before even talking with you. If you have tests run, don't plan on anyone calling you or explaining the results. You'll be expected to schedule another appointment and wait for another three months.

Dr. Neary RUINED my husband's arm. He torn his distal tendon and required surgery. At the…read moreconsult, my husband requested the more senior physician but he said couldn't do the surgery because of a vacatio. So Dr. Neary was the physician to ATTEMPT the repair. During the surgery, Neary drilled and attached the tendon to the WRONG bone, upon xray he noticed his error. (he even documented that he erroneously attached a tendon to the wrong bone in his physician report) He then had to cut into the back of his arm to detach the tendon and reattach it to the correct arm. he did not a properly attach the tendon to the bicep, so his bicep is still attached incorrectly. When drilling into the wrong bone he brushed across a nerve causing permanent nerve damage and loss of feeling in all his fingers.
