I intentionally booked an off-hour since I didn't want my big group to get in anyone's way, and opening time on a Saturday worked perfectly. We were seated at a long table in the back that felt as close to a private room as we could get. Appreciated our server being patient with some late guests and checking in on us regularly. I loved the spicy chicken sandwich as much as the first time I had it, and also tried the lamb kheema cheesesteak (delicious) and the masala nachos (HUGE portion). Super reasonable prices for food and drinks here, and still some of the best Asian fusion food I've had with really authentic flavors transformed into classic bar-food dishes. We went to mini golf afterwards and did all 18 holes; I was afraid so much mini golf could get tiring or boring, but we had a blast throughout and played for a good 3+ hours. Some of the upstairs holes were deceptively difficult, but we didn't take it too seriously and honestly it made it funnier. Again, coming at a less-crowded time was a good call as I can imagine a big group being more cumbersome to other guests at a busy time. The place did pick up in the evening right as we were finishing up. Overall, Libertee Grounds is a great place for a meal, drinks, and activity whether it's for a date, friend hangout, or a larger event (I know they do event bookings for particularly large groups). Even though I've played through all the mini golf courses by now, I'd honestly come back just for the delicious food!

However, I liked the atmosphere of Libertee Grounds and have made a note to myself to come back when I have more time to spend. The beer selection here is quite good. I had the Kenwood Original and it was good enough for seconds. If you're a beer person, this is a great place to visit. The bartender was also very friendly and helpful, and I wished I'd had more time to spend here. Will be back.

However Hill Top is closer to that than any course should be. The problems in no particular order are as follows. The turf is in the worst shape I have ever seen. What makes it even worse is they just have patches of newer turf glued down on top on the old turf and this has happens multiple times so some holes have up to 4 different ages of turf. The course itself is also in bad shape. Things broken and not fixed. Water features not working. It's a personal pet peeve of mine when a course has the hole where your suppose to hit it down the river and the water is not working. The holes are also poorly designed, most of them are slightly up hill, so any mis hit results in the ball rolling back to the start, this is made harder by the poor conditions of the course. The corse is cash only, but there is no way to find that out beforehand because they don't have a website, and it's kind of expensive at $7 a person. The putters are some of the worst I have ever used. They only have 3 sizes, all too short for adults. The putters are also in roughly shape with chunks missing out of the rubber. The theming also looks like they bought what ever was on clearance at the miniature golf supply store. Nothing goes together. Overall a very subpar miniature golf course that only get 2 stars because it has golf balls, putters and 18 holes. Avoid this place if you can.

Great location. The only thing this hotel doesn't have is a pool. Not having access to a pool in the summer was disappointing. It's conveniently located in Old Town Philadelphia right by Independence National Park. Signer's Park is directly across the street, and the Liberty Bell is next door. It's where you want to be! I came to Philadelphia for a milestone birthday celebration, and the Kimpton's staff made it an incredible experience. Not only was my room decorated, but they were incredibly generous and made my holiday memorable. Roshid was our Concierge and he was incredibly helpful and personable, he made sure every part of our experience was special. I can't say enough about the staff at this Kimpton. Everyone was friendly and helpful! The Red Owl Tavern is the on-site restaurant and it is a good place for breakfast, especially if you are a IHG Rewards member that receives complementary breakfast benefits. Their lunch and dinner options are also nice. There's a positive energy in the place when people are talking and enjoying a meal. The building itself is a historic structure, and has very interesting architecture. However, the interior has been updated with styling that is fresh and hip, just what you would expect from a Kimpton property! The local wildlife also enjoys the building, we were excited to see a hawk uses the building as a perch as it surveys the area. Look out pigeons!
