However, I liked the atmosphere of Libertee Grounds and have made a note to myself to come back when I have more time to spend. The beer selection here is quite good. I had the Kenwood Original and it was good enough for seconds. If you're a beer person, this is a great place to visit. The bartender was also very friendly and helpful, and I wished I'd had more time to spend here. Will be back.

We purchased our tickets online which with each ticket you receive a souvenir class along with one drink to go inside to begin your night. The one member of staff was so attentive and informative I really enjoyed his organization/ presentation skills. I even made sure to tell him! As for the food, I'm not going to lie I was a bit disappointed. We visited on a Thursday evening, it wasn't extremely busy but busy enough and we do wait a while for our food, and mine came out about 10min before my friends did which just isn't ideal. The food overall once it did arrive was pretty unsatisfying honestly. I wanted to really enjoy it because it's just a cool take, but I think the menu items may need a little reworking is all. Still don't allow that to keep you away from an awesome place!

We did have a little confusion at check in because the front desk didn't really explain how the courses worked, but Nylla completely turned it around. She was awesome, super knowledgeable, and took the time to walk us through everything so we could actually enjoy the full experience. After that, it was smooth sailing and we had a blast. Huge shoutout to Nylla for making the night great. We'll definitely be back. Great deal on Happy Hour drinks as well.

They have a huge footprint in Liberty Place with 4 9 hole courses and a large bar/dining area, You can RSVP online, but I think they take walk-ins too. We got there a little early and headed to the bar for a drink. We drank the beer on tap, but they were making a variety of beautiful cocktails behind the bar. When it's your turn you head to your course, they are distinctly named: Ruby, Sapphire, Emerald, Amber, each with 9 holes. Pickup your putter and get your ball from your Puttnation rep at the beginning of each course. It's not your typical mini golf course. The balls have chips and are assigned to golfers. Each golfer finishes the hike before the next golfer begins. It automatically counts your strokes and keeps score. There are additional games of chance built into the game and a chance to win bonus points. True or False, Trivia, Connect 4, and more. So it's not based on the fewest strokes, but the most points. It was a lot of fun and I'd definitely do it again. I wish the courses were more unique...out of the 36 holes there were numerous repeats that appeared in all of the courses. You can skip around on your course as well, the ball knows who you are when you put it on the tee. Just don't do the 9th hole because it doesn't return your ball! Service at the bar was fast and friendly. I'd say the same of all the staff we interacted with, from the host station, to the coat check, the bar, and on the course.

However Hill Top is closer to that than any course should be. The problems in no particular order are as follows. The turf is in the worst shape I have ever seen. What makes it even worse is they just have patches of newer turf glued down on top on the old turf and this has happens multiple times so some holes have up to 4 different ages of turf. The course itself is also in bad shape. Things broken and not fixed. Water features not working. It's a personal pet peeve of mine when a course has the hole where your suppose to hit it down the river and the water is not working. The holes are also poorly designed, most of them are slightly up hill, so any mis hit results in the ball rolling back to the start, this is made harder by the poor conditions of the course. The corse is cash only, but there is no way to find that out beforehand because they don't have a website, and it's kind of expensive at $7 a person. The putters are some of the worst I have ever used. They only have 3 sizes, all too short for adults. The putters are also in roughly shape with chunks missing out of the rubber. The theming also looks like they bought what ever was on clearance at the miniature golf supply store. Nothing goes together. Overall a very subpar miniature golf course that only get 2 stars because it has golf balls, putters and 18 holes. Avoid this place if you can.

It's conveniently located in Old Town Philadelphia right by Independence National Park. Signer's Park is directly across the street, and the Liberty Bell is next door. It's where you want to be! I came to Philadelphia for a milestone birthday celebration, and the Kimpton's staff made it an incredible experience. Not only was my room decorated, but they were incredibly generous and made my holiday memorable. Roshid was our Concierge and he was incredibly helpful and personable, he made sure every part of our experience was special. I can't say enough about the staff at this Kimpton. Everyone was friendly and helpful! The Red Owl Tavern is the on-site restaurant and it is a good place for breakfast, especially if you are a IHG Rewards member that receives complementary breakfast benefits. Their lunch and dinner options are also nice. There's a positive energy in the place when people are talking and enjoying a meal. The building itself is a historic structure, and has very interesting architecture. However, the interior has been updated with styling that is fresh and hip, just what you would expect from a Kimpton property! The local wildlife also enjoys the building, we were excited to see a hawk uses the building as a perch as it surveys the area. Look out pigeons!

The bed and pillows were reasonably comfortable. The storage for clothes was adequate. The noise level was generally good and the sound insulation from the street was adequate. The Red Owl food was mostly good and the staff are nearly all very friendly and helpful. The exercise room was adequate for a decent workout, though it is mostly dumbbells and a few treadmills, a couple of exercise bikes, and a couple of elliptical machines. Two yoga mats. The not good: The music that is played in the lobby and entrance is way too loud. The coffee served in the lobby each morning was terrible. Should have a coffee maker in the room. The bathroom lighting was insufficient. The oatmeal served on the breakfast menu desperately needs to be changed so that the apple crumble is gone and substituted with fresh fruit - the apple tastes of chemicals. The valet service is staffed by bored and uninterested young adults.
