Not only did he take some incredible shots, but he became our official photographer, worked there for years and his style helped define the look and "brand" of the club. I was so proud to produce a gallery show with him, covering the extensive body of work he accomplished in his first year at the club. He is prompt, communicative, and delivers on his promises. 1) for the engagement shoot: he helped us get comfortable, gave us directions, helped lighten the mood with music, and worked with our ideas as well and the props we brought! In the end, we got the vision we wanted along with some beautiful scenic shots that we liked from his portfolio. We used our engagement photo shoot everywhere - I highly recommend doing both since you'll get comfortable with him for the actual wedding too. 2) for the wedding day: he was a real pro- I had couple shots I really wanted which he took care of those. At the same time, I just let him lead a lot of the photos and ideas, and he came with plenty and made it easy and seamless for me, my partner, our families, and wedding party! Overall, the photos are beautiful - I am impressed with how natural the photos are (their style is very true to the experience and not overly filtered), and how he captured all of our special moments from all different angles. I absolutely love them and will continue to come to them for our future events!! From the moment we met with them, they immediately spoke to us like we were already their friends. Derek and the photographer at Photo House were both kind and professional. Derek is especially good with children and genuinely loving. I've already recommended some of my friends to go here, and I'll definitely come back again for our family photography needs.
