Non existent then I noticed sesame seeds had been sprinkled all over the top of all the pizzas. What ? So weird. I'm a fan of stuffed crust so that was a plus but because of the enormous amount of cheese already on top of the pizza, it didn't pair well. I also think the overall pizza dough was a bit lacking. Kind of soggy and chewy. The item that I would really recommend is the corn dog!! Interesting that a pizza place would offer corn dogs but they did it beautifully. Crispy exterior rolled in sugar which complimented the salty inside super well.

The problem I've had with this restaurant is that I've ordered pizza from here multiple times that was half vegetarian and meat was baked inside the vegetarian slices. When I bit into the unexpected pepperoni I immediately spit it out. Disappointing! If this only happened one time I could overlook it but it's happened multiple times. Which is sloppy cooking. Both times the meat was hidden under the cheese so you can't even see it. It is almost as if the restaurant workers likes to prank vegetarians or are just careless with the toppings. The only disappointment was that I sat on my moral high ground instead of just giving into my wanton desire. So far I have eaten two of their pies; Pesto Chicken (self-explanatory ingredients) and the Little Italy (classic Pepperoni). The quality and freshness of the ingredients is visual, for example the Chicken was sliced thick, easy to tell it was from a single breast piece. When you put that sort of care on their over the top good thin crust, you have a perfect combination. The Little Italy was all flavour and not greasy, so satisfying. Next time I order, pretty sure I'm going to try something with less traditional ingredients, which normally is a crap shoot, but I have faith Vesuvio can pull it off....maybe their Bianca (Zucchini, Spinach, Corn, Sun Dried Tomato and Bleu Cheese) or Quatro (Ham, Shrimp, WTF Crab!, Mushroom).
