We decided to give this place a try a couple of weeks ago on a Saturday evening since their menu sounded good. I placed my order online, and picked up in store. The online ordering process was really smooth & I like that it's really user friendly if you want to add or remove toppings, it's easy to navigate. When we got there to pick up, our pizza wasn't quite ready but close. By the time I got done making my to go salad bar the pizza was done. Love love love this place! Veteran friendly. Staff is awesome. The owner is so helpful. (They ran out of strawberry syrup in their pop machine, but he brought a bottle of better syrup for me.) Welcoming environment. And food is delicious! They even have gluten free options. I have a rare disease (not celiac) and am allergic to food protein. I was able to eat here, right off the menu, with no reaction. 10/10 will be going back. It's the halfway point between my uncle and myself, so we meet there for lunch and to hang out. While out and about all day with family we decided to check out this spot with our party of 9. I love to support local businesses along our travels and the name caught my eye. It is located in a really old part of town where most of the businesses have went out of business. What was once a pretty booming spot with a theatre across the street is becoming ghost like. My father in law was born and raised here so it's really sad to see. When we first arrived we weren't sure if we ordered at the front or sat and waited for a menu. After getting our tables together we went up and ordered at the front a d were given a number. The salad bar was looked better than anywhere I'd seen in ages. So I had to order that with our pizza and wings. My son wanted spaghetti and meatballs so we ordered that as well. I was given a salad bar plate right away with our drink cups. The veggies were fresh and the lettuce was crispy. There were many different toppings to choose from along with at least four types of dressing. It was so good! Our pizza and wings came out soon after. Pizza was hot and they didn't skimp on the toppings. I like a bit more sauce than they had, but still pretty good. The crust wasn't too thick or think but soft and a bit doughy. If you like that Chris is your place for sure. I'm more of a New York type crust, but love an occasional slice of different styles/flavor. My son gobbled up his spaghetti. The wings were sauced well not over done. They are baked though so don't be surprised if you're more of a fried wing person. The wings were huge and juicy. Good assortment of flat/drums. Place was clean and also offered ice cream as well if you wanted dessert or no food and just a sweet treat. I'm giving a four because of the salad bar, ability to seat a large group so quickly and the food itself. Service was more of a 2-3, no real interaction or greetings and they didn't come around at all to check on us and such. All in all it was a great stop, east parking on the street and gave us time after to drive through my father in laws old stomping grounds. read more

This is just an update on my previous "covid era" review where I gave it four stars. We are now (my opinion) post covid and this place is back to a genuine five stars. I defy you to find a better salad bar between here and Kansas City or here and Saint Louis. There was a better one in Kansas City when Sweet Tomatoes was open but they died due to the pandemic. So now if you live in KC, or STL, or Just Missouri anywhere, and you want a great salad bar, you will need to drive to Willow Springs Missouri for it. Just try it and you'll see what I mean. This is wonderful family-owned restaurant with amazing pizza. I don't get to Willow Springs too often but every time I do I look for an excuse to do so around lunch or dinner.
