Update because under new management. They're now big on the wings. Over 100 flavors. I did the Ubereats BOGO 1lb wings deal (ends up being $13 something for 2lbs, I think?) in pineapple curry. Not bad at all. Definitely going to try more flavors. Their pickup deals for pizza are pretty good too. I think it's $12.99 for a XL (12pc) 3 topping pizza. Crust is reasonably thin. I wish they had a comprehensive list of toppings for me to choose from somewhere though. read more

The pizza itself hits the spot with a chewy (but light) crust and a reasonable amount of toppings. everything seems fairly fresh and i haven't had a bad order yet. we like their pickup specials and often get a Med 3 topping pizza and 15 wings for $23 which is not bad. they have a ton of wing flavors and spicy gar parm is one of my faves. the only complaint i have is that last time the pizza wasn't as hot as usual when i ate it, felt like they made it earlier than usual and it cooled down way too much. give them a try! read more

Okay, so I eat at a lot of pizza places. And with a crazy 5 of them just on York Mills in the stretch between Leslie and Don Mills, there's a lot to choose from. For the food itself, this is probably my favourite. Most often I just get the any two slices and a drink combo, which goes for a bit over $6 after tax, but I've also had their chicken, wedges, and wings. All have been really good. This time, I got one veggie slice and one meat lovers. The crust is light and airy, and the toppings seemed fresh, and were plentiful. I've tried a few others slices as well, but this is my favourite combination. You also can't beat the prices here. They've got all kinds of combos and deals, and so no matter what you're looking for, they'll have something for you. This is a small place, and so I believe there is just one staff in cash, and someone making food in the back. They're always friendly and helpful, and I always get my food hot and quickly. The food and service in my eyes is 5 star. I have to knock a star off for the restaurant, both inside and out. The eatery itself is very small, and there's no bathroom. And the parking lot outside is a bit of a joke. So many restaurants sharing it. I believe there may be parking in the back as well, but mostly if you're going around lunch time, you're hunting for a spot, or walking a fair way. With this though, it's definitely still worth checking out, and I know I'll be going back again and again. read more

This area is saturated with pizza places...heck there's a Pizza Hut in the same plaza as this place, but if you want your money's worth you'd be wise to give this place a try! I was ordering some pies for a work lunch, and we had to feed about 15 people. Typically we spend about $75-80 on pizza for the gang, but I was able to get 2 x party pizzas (16 slices) and 1 x XL pizza with 3 toppings on each for $53 tax included. Wow!! They had the pies ready on time despite being busy during the lunch rush, and even threw in 3 dipping sauces at no charge. Cheap pizza is great - but how was the taste, you ask? Pretty darn good! Overall, it was just 'pizza' - nothing wild or unique, but it was exactly what we wanted. They didn't skimp on toppings, crust was good, not bland, etc. They do have other food available (chicken fingers, wings, poutine, etc.) all at very reasonable prices. We have named this our new go-to pizza place for our office parties. Glad I decided to give them a shot - you should too! read more

This used to be one of the best places around for a quick and filling lunch but a few months ago new owners took over and it's been bad experience after bad experience since. They have not gotten my order right once since new owners took over. Their wings are smaller, pizza is colder. They still get a second star for being a good value for the quantity but man it's disappointing just how downhill they have gone. They also lie on the ritual app. They say it's ready and then when you get there it's not even close. read more

By The Slice is one of the best pizza places I been to. It is a small place nicely tucked away in the plaza. I order here at least once a month for lunch with my co-workers. They always have killer deals such as 2 medium speciality pizza for $16.99 - Their specialy pizzas are amazing as they have around 5-6 toppings on it. Southwest chicken and Meat combo are my fave. If you just want to pick your own toppings there is a 2 Medium pizza 6 toppings combined from $14.99. Ex-Large Margherita or 4 cheese pizza for $9.99. They surpising also have amazing fried chicken almost like KFC. I actually like it more than KFC and it is cheaper as well. 10 huge Chicken pieces and medium wedges for only $12.99. Only thing bad is the plaza parking is horrible as it shared with Wendy's, starbucks,Kelsey and Mr. Greek. Can't wait to order from them this Friday. read more

Placed an order for pick up asked sauce on the side as I'm sharing with a co worker. They put sauce on the wings. When I called he said sorry it was my misunderstanding and I'll give you 10% off, I said well that doesn't help me now, then he said 20% off next order. By Slice, how you like? By the Slice is a good middle of the road pizza joint with great prices. It's great for a cheap lunch. The staff are friendly and the food is decent. When ordering slices, there is often inconsistency in the quality and prices. I have learned to just order the freshest looking slice. If something looks like it's been sitting out for a while, it's because it's been sitting out for a while! Another peculiar thing I have noticed at By the Slice, is when paying with cash I will often receive the same meal at a higher cost than if I had paid with debit. Ordered delivery from here not long ago. The pizza was undercooked and soggy. The potato wedges were soggy and super oily. It tasted as though the oil hadn't been changed in quite some time. When we called to voice our concerns the manager working told us that he was "disappointed in us for not liking his food". I found the comment very strange and off putting. He didn't offer us new pizza/wedges or any compensation, we will not be ordering from here anymore! read more

This is one of my favourite pizza spots in all of Toronto. The price combined with the quality of the food makes it a win win. They take the classic Hawaiian slice and manage to make it even better. I've been to many places for pizza but this little shop has been the only shop that has made my pizza exactly the way i want it. Their wings are amazing and their potato wedges are great too.
