Very different choices for pizza here, I ended up finally having a birria topped pizza which I must say I enjoyed . It was tasty, very different, the birria was actually really good, I could have had that thing all by itself to be honest . What can I say about this place hipster meets rocker meets emo meets pizza place. They have the most original pizzas you will ever have with a Mexican spin to it. We came here when they first opened years ago (I was a Yelp baby) and they have stuck with the concept but have made some changes for the better. Its a remodeled old house in the Chapultepec neighborhood that is always busy with night life all week. The entrance you can barely see it and now they actually have signs with the logo "Perro Negro" or black dog. They specialize in Pizzas and craft beer. Chillaquiles pizza, chile relleno pizza, mac and cheese pizza justvto name a few. By size, slice or whole. They use to live rock bands play but they have been having trouble with city ordenance and had to stop. You walk in through a graffitti filled alley way (graffiti was done as decoration) and meet the all knowing Budda dog as I call him, surrounded by candles. The place has 2 stories and smoking is permitted on the balcony as well as dogs. Young and old come as well as nerds and squares its a little bit of everything. Service seems more organized and faster than when they started and more efficient. Come and enjoy a wierd concoction of a pizza and have some artisanal beer. Eat on the balcony area or inside. Its something original for sure. Streer Parking is tough since its a busy area. You can try the parking garage half a block down at Mercado Mexico. :) P.s. they are opening a new one with live music on Lopez Cotilla soon!!! read more

This place is soooooo superb. The prices are really affordable and has a really artistic flare. Music was a little loud but reasonable. Imagine a Chicago deep dish pizza done over with an imaginary chef. They had Mac and cheese as a topping. really but we tried the Tennessee jack Daniels and half carnita pizza . The slices were so thick,like Chicago style, we could only eat two slices. The crust even held the weight of all the topping a true sign of a Chicago style pizza. Kudos to this stop. read more
