My son and I visited the Greenwood Pizza Hut around 11:30 AM on Friday, June 12, 2026, and honestly, the experience made me sad more than anything. First, I want to give credit where it's due. There were only two employees working during a busy lunch rush, and both stayed busy the entire time. The lady running the front counter, cutting pizzas, handling the drive-thru window, and helping customers was especially friendly and hardworking. She deserves recognition because she was doing the job of several people at once and never stopped moving. Unfortunately, the condition of the restaurant itself told a very different story. When we walked in, the dining room lights were off, making it difficult to tell whether the dining room was even open. Several tables were covered with crumbs and trash, and the whole area looked more like a restaurant that had not been properly closed and cleaned from the day before than a place serving lunch customers. To make matters worse, there weren't any napkins available. Normally that might be a minor inconvenience, but when the dining room is already messy and customers have no way to wipe tables or clean up after themselves, it becomes part of a bigger problem. Speaking of tables, some of the tables along the wall appeared to have gone a very long time without being properly cleaned. There was visible dust buildup and even bugs on some surfaces. It wasn't just a table that had been missed that day. It looked like areas that hadn't seen a cleaning rag in quite some time. One thing that stood out was seeing a phone charger plugged in at one of the dirty tables. Combined with the overall condition of the dining room, it gave the impression that employees may use the dining area during downtime rather than focusing on cleaning and maintaining it for customers. Whether that was actually the case or not, it wasn't a great look. As for the food, it wasn't bad. However, I do have one observation that may sound picky. The cheese sticks had an excessive amount of cheese on them. While some people might see that as a bonus, there was so much cheese that it affected how evenly they cooked. It also represents wasted product cost that most restaurant operators usually try to avoid. I understand why Pizza Hut no longer offers the buffet. Food costs, labor costs, and operating expenses have changed dramatically over the years. Most customers understand that. What is harder to understand is why the dine-in experience appears to have been abandoned altogether. I grew up loving Pizza Hut. The red cups, the bustling dining room, the smell of fresh pizza, and the feeling that going there was an event. Walking into this location felt like seeing an old friend who had simply given up. The food itself wasn't the problem. The employees weren't the problem. In fact, the employees seemed to be doing the best they could with what they had. The problem is that the restaurant feels neglected. It gives the impression that corporate leadership has stopped investing in the customer experience and no longer takes pride in the brand that so many of us grew up loving. I genuinely hope someone higher up reads this review because Greenwood deserves better, the employees deserve better support, and Pizza Hut deserves better than what this location currently represents. read more

Went to Pizza Hut tonight. Took an hour to get food. Had to circle around twice. They definitely need more help, because there is no way it should taken that long. Pizza was not hot after waiting on the wings. read more

The service at this locations is below average. No one speaks when you walk in and they are not checking the text pick up requests even with the notice posted on the front window. Cleanliness is terrible too! read more

I have taken out from here a few times, and, I've never had a problem. I think their pizza and wings are pretty good. As far as average take out times, usually the pizza is ready when they promise. read more

Horrible service. Don't trust promised take-out times. We were told 25 minutes, and after an hour still had no pizza. Ended up asking for refund. Quality of pizza is not consistent with most Pizza Huts either. They run out of ingredients (sauce!) and have run out of sizes and crusts. Avoid this place unless you're desperate. The staff also seem like they couldn't care less about their jobs. Have seen want ads for mgr and asst mgr positions here, so my guess is turnover is high. read more

I stopped ordering from Pizza Hut a long time ago. They run out of everything that is requested. Pizza (that is if you receive it) is cold. Waited about 35 minutes, to get a call asking me to pick it up. After I got there it still wasn't ready. The work place station is nasty. I get way better pizza and quick service from Dominos. read more
