We have eaten at this restaurant multiple times and always before had great service and food. Now yesterday was an extremely severe change!!!! We ordered our pizza by phone. When I arrived the pies were still in the oven as I expected, this way they are hot when I get home. I see my first pizza come out and they set it aside waiting on the other. I wait and see the other come out. They box it up, yet I still wait, now the pies are in the box and sitting on the rack, not under heat lamp. I see several other orders come out, still waiting. Then a pan with hamburger meat comes out. They open my first box and pour the hamburger meat on the pizza. Now they hand the pizzas to me?! They had forgotten one of the toppings and ran it through the oven and just threw it on the pizza. I ask to speak with the manger, and was told she was busy. I said I am a customer and need to speak with her. I then ask well what is the general manager's name, and he told me the manager on duty was the general manager. I then demanded that she come and speak with me, and she still refused. So when they made a mistake in making the pizza, which apparently was the general manager making the pizzas, instead aid remaking the pizza correctly. They just put ingredients through and throw them on. Not only do the flavors get to mix, now they are put on a COLD PIZZA, and I was told I am not important enough to speak with?!?!?! I was told that the managers name was Debby, that is the way the name was spelled when handed to me. Not only was the pizza far below standards for an average pizza, this is 5:30 on a Saturday, they also have no tea made. This general manager isn't even competent enough to be a shift manager, no way even close for general manager!!!!!!!! I requested the name of the owner so I could speak with or leave a message for him, but they refused. Now I am left here to leave this for you on Yelp. Food is fine... whenever they decide to get it to you. I stood at the front for a good 15 minute before being helped. I don't mind waiting to some degree. However whenever I was finally acknowledged, I was greeted with a very rude and unhappy employee. Tyler is the name on the ticket so I hope that that's correct. I've genuinely never left a poor review on a restaurant simply because I've worked in them before. I understand things. But being blatantly rude is where I draw the line. I've never felt so unwelcomed simply because I want to eat. No one is forcing anyone to work here so the disrespect is just uncalled for. Customer service is part of your job, just like making food. You can't just pick and choose which you want to do, and quite frankly, it seems like no one here wants to do either. This is one of the only places I have ever left one star. The service was completely unacceptable. I will never come here again. I never got a thanks as I walked out the manager "Eric" didn't even thank me or acknowledge anything at all when he took in the payment. The buffet food was very sparse and they never put out the pasta. My suggestion is to not even get off your car if your seeing this. Pros: none unfortunately. Cons: everything. SOOOOOO slow. Good food but ALWAYS give yourself 15mins to wait. If you a planning a pick up plan for there to be 15-30 min delays, especially during lunch hours. Overall the food is good quality but this establishments standard of operation is slow. While the staff is cordial and kind, customer service and speedy service is not going to happen here. I have dined in and picked up orders on several occasions, I have yet to be in and out within 15 mins. I've stood next to several livid patrons, in a hurry and frustrated at the slow pace at which this branch operates. They did hand tossed instead of this on that pizza the second pizza was suppose to be a medium hand tossed with Italian crust parmesan sauce chicken black olives and spinach. Kingsville Pizza Hut, why do you hate us? We have tried to order from you several times and maybe once did our order come on time and with the correct food. The majority of the time our order is delivered outstandingly late (2-3 hours!!!) or it is incorrect. Every single time we order we have to call and check to find out where the heck our food is. Once it gets to our house we are happy and it is delicious, however, putting up with this mistreatment is wearing thin on our patience. Your customer service is awful and it makes us sad. We can't put up with this anymore. There have been instances where we completely cancelled our order because something went wrong or we were starving and had to find something else. I called Pizza Hut to order a pizza, yes I know, wrong site, my nephew (8 yrs. old) had lost his football game so I wanted to cheer him up. I suggested I buy (prepay) a pepperoni pizza for him and his mom could swing by and pick it up on their way back home. I called Pizza Hut, spoke to someone she said that they normally don't do that, I couldn't prepay unless I was asking to have it delivered. I told her I was the aunt in Dallas and they were in Kingsville headed back home to Premont. I asked if I could speak to a manager, she said she would put me on hold, 20 minutes later I hung and called back. Someone else answered, He said that I would have to order the pizza then he could note for a manager to call me back for payment, to see if they would approve me to prepay the pizza. It is now 3:12pm, I placed this order 1:20pm. I am still waiting for the manager to tell me whether or not I can pay for that pizza sitting there. I called Domino's at 2:05pm, and my nephew had a slice of pizza in his hand by 2:30pm. Erica was great!!! She understood my plea and I placed my order. This is the type of customer service that is lacking in the industry today. I don't know the reasons why Pizza Hut wouldn't do it other than policy, but if that was the case they wouldn't of done it before about a year ago when someone did let me prepay for one. I ordered online hours in advance and specifically asked to be delivered at 9pm. 40 minutes later I finally had to tell my man the surprise cause he was about to go to bed and it was ruined. Dining in is usually a good experience, but I've recently started frequenting carry out instead. And they have not gotten a single one of my carry out orders right at all. The first time they forgot to put spinach on the pizza. The next time they forgot to make it a red fiery pepper crust. The most recent time they forgot to put the spinach on the pizza, did not make it with extra sauce, and they gave us regular crust instead of the pepper crust. So if you're dining in, then you will enjoy yourself for the most part, but I do not recommend ordering carry out. read more
