The outdoor sitting area overlooks the park across the way so you can enjoy your meal and people watch. I ordered some spicy pizza of the day. My friend went safe and ordered the margarita pizza. The presentation is nice. You get a large pizza on a wooden paddle. I also ordered a beer and water to go with my pizza. I was parched. The pizza not only looked great but tasted great. You could tell the ingredients were fresh and they make their own sauce. I would compare to a pizza I had while in Italy. Overall, a nice spot to grab a bite and drink. There are additional shops in the small strip such as ice cream, outdoor place, and others. I would recommend if you're passing in the area. My taste buds did thank me for the delicious meal I had. Its hard to rate something that you hardly remember eating. Often, the only way of knowing what post-intoxication snack you selected is the empty box and repugnant smell that lingers in whomevers bedroom you woke up in. Most memorable is the odd Argos-esque ordering system whereby you order at one counter and have to stumble to the next for collection after taking a numbered ticket. And it takes FOREVER. So by the time you get your beautifully tasteless mush, its cold. I'd avoid and pop over the road to University Kebabs.

I was a student at Bangor & have also lived on Anglesey all my life & can safely say that Pizza House is one of the best, if not THE best Pizza place in the area! Lovely, tasty pizza at a reasonable price (10" Margherita for around £4). All the pizzas I have had from there have been deep pan/dish types - which are very filling! They also do chips, burgers & other things you'd normally see on a Pizza take away menu. This month (August 2010) a new Dominos Pizza has opened literally down the road. I hope that it inspires Pizza House to maybe have a few more deals to compete with them!

Simple but good HOME cooked food…read more Almost like a bunk house in the shadow of snowdon itself this little pub and hostel offers simple rustic food, cooked quickly efficiently and properly!! Our table consisted of pizza and burgers . All cooked very well. I found the 1/2 pound welsh black beef burger with salad and chips very very filling ! I tried a slice of pizza and it was well cooked ( maybe a tad undercooked for my personal taste of crispy ) but I was informed you can ask for it to crispy ! Every main mean comes with a pint including guest ales so it's was very refreshing! The ordering system is very novel and means they cannot make a mistake , you take a slip and tick what you want with your name and table number and hand it too the bar. Your food is brought out and name called out so you should get what you ticked, also don't pick too rude a name to have read!! I also believe you can have pizza to take away :-) so it's a win win !

There is a car park right next to the restaurant with a barrier and a £1 charge, but there is plenty of free street parking nearby if you would rather avoid paying for parking. (It is not the restaurant's own car park, they have nothing to do with the charge, it is a council car park for people visiting the pier). It is also worth noting that this restaurant is closed on Sundays and Mondays and open evenings only, not lunchtimes. The staff are charming and go out of their way to make sure everything is to your satisfaction and they often stop and have a chat beyond just food, asking where you are from and what you do in life etc., which is always nice. One of which is their legendary chocolate based pizza with marshmallows for cheese and Mars Bar and Twix topping! These are absolutely amazing, and I remember getting these on a weekly basis years ago, and wandering along the front with a group of mates eating this ridiculously stodgy culinary masterpiece! Other ones are their occasional monthly specials such as a Jamaican Jerk Pizza, Chinese Pizza or a seafood special. They often change monthly so it's well worth popping in and having a look. They deliver locally and have a great selection of sides and fizzy drinks. All in all they are a fantastic alternative to Domino's, and a great deal cheaper! So support your local pizza seller!

The rosemary potatoes were crisp on the outside and soft on the inside, which is just how they should be. Then, the piece de resistance--hot chocolate with pistachio liqueur. SO good. It was hard not to drink it too fast. The waitstaff was very pleasant and gave us just the right amount of service and attention. We've already made another reservation!

I had to have Fettuccine Alfredo at Alfredo - another winner! Creamy rich goodness with yummy, generous bites of speck (ham)! Bottom line: I loved the place! Was it the best Italian food I've ever had? Yes (in Wales!)
