Pizza One's chicken bruschetta ($16 for a medium) starts with a garlic butter base that's topped with chunks of chicken, onion, tomato, parmesan, and mozzarella with a sprinkling of Italian seasoning to provide a pop of freshness. Overall, the pie has good flavours (the parmesan adds such a nice salty finish) and the toppings are well spread out allowing each bite to incorporate all the ingredients. While Pizza One has tons of developed recipes, my husband always goes with his custom pizza ($18.50 for a medium): pepperoni, mushroom, onions, and extra cheese. His wasn't as impressive as the chicken bruschetta, the pepperoni were larger slices, which meant they needed to be toasted longer as the soggy centre ends up tasting like bologna. With the extra cheese, Pizza One should consider applying less marinara to ensure the crust doesn't become doughy and soft. They are not a thin crust pizza, but their crust is still slimmer than what's typically found at the chains. The chicken bruschetta's crust was nice and airy, and the bottom lightly toasted until it almost had a Pizza Hut crunch and flavour but without the greasiness and heaviness. Came into Gravenhurst late with few options for dinner. Found Pizza One to be nearly closing for the night (they close early nowadays with covid impact on tourism etc). Luckily Patrick had not turned off the oven yet and was kind enough to make us a small Donair pizza before wrapping up. They're super friendly and definitely made us feel super welcome as it's our first time in town. We took it back to the hotel so we don't stop them from going home for the day. The pizza itself was absolutely amazing. Perfect balance of toppings, cheese and crust. It's so perfect that even after 4 slices, I don't feel bloated. I really liked the sauce and the wonderful ingredients that make it such a great combination. Definitely need to come in - am sure it's one of the best in town. read more

Great local pizza place in Gravenhurst. Street parking is available in front of the restaurant. Indoor and outdoor patio seating areas available. New owners have expressed their commitment to keeping the same recipes as the previous owners. They have your typical pizza flavours such as Hawaiian, Canadian, Meat lovers, Super Pepperoni and Deluxe. More unique options include Donair, Chicken Broccoli, Pierogi, Ocean Delite, and vegetarian options like Spanikopita and Cheesy Asparagus. Salads, wraps, burritos, quesadillas, and chicken wings are also on the menu. We tried their chicken bruschetta pizza which was priced reasonably, and very flavourful. The pizza crust was not ultra thin so it withstood the weight of the chicken, tomatoes, herbs and cheeses. The crust had a crisp exterior with a tender doughy interior and was served hot and fresh from the oven. A small pizza ($13) was filling enough for hubby and I for lunch. Would definitely come back when in the area to try more of their pizzas. read more

We took a chance and popped in to inquire about delivery to the place we were staying here in Gravenhurst and we have not been disappointed. The price for delivery and tip on a large pizza with customized for two (1/2 pizza with 2 toppings and other have with different) was under $30. We asked for delayed delivery as we had walked into town from our resort and it arrived right on time, piping hot and exactly as we'd hoped. I'm not sure about this place... the Margherita pizza was the saddest excuse for Margherita I've ever seen, just dry basil from a spice jar sprinkled onto a plain mozzarella pizza. But the crust is pretty good actually! And the Canadian pizza was decent. I guess I'd be fine with it if the prices weren't so premium. read more

This pizza was amazing. We ordered it as we were driving back from Algonquin and didn't even realize it was organic and wood fired until I pulled up and saw it on the sign. Delicious ingredients, combined into well-crated pizzas. We tried the Green Pie with pesto marinara, spinach, broccoli, artichoke, feta, green olives and herbs. It was fresh and well balanced, everything might have been the same colour, but it was full of different falvours. Patrick is my guy, for hands down the best pizza in Muskoka. I've been going there for over a year and never been disappointed. Lots of great toppings. And while there isn't a gluten free crust, they use a high quality Italian flour with a low gluten content, that is mixed with tapioca and rice flour. Which Pat was kind enough to explain to my girlfriend (who has a gluten sensitivity). I can't recommend them enough! read more
