    And 1 lb wings

If you happen to be in Ajax it's a must to go to and grab some good old pizza and wings vnit just your average pizza but one of the best pizza in Ontario. It's has the perfect crust not too doughy and not too thick, very tasty pizza sauce not on the sour side perfect made. If the cheese was stretchy it could been the best ever. Wings are amazing juicy and tender not dry I recommend the jalopneno dipp for I'm kinda surprised it tastes like BBQ but it's still very good. Look for Jay and he will take good care of you, will definitely come back and try their other menus.

Okay, I get why this is the local "go to spot" for pizza. It was amazing. It's like a deep dish pizza, but not that deep. I normally only eat two slices and here, that's the equivalent of one slice. It's freshly made by the most friendly people and oh man did I enjoy that pizza. Because it's fresh, expect to wait a bit if you're ordering on the spot. Otherwise, many people seem to call in early so it's ready when they arrive. There's a good number of seats to dine in, but take out seems popular. We ordered the chicken wings and our batch was really dry. It's like the chicken may have been sitting out for too long or fried too long. but it wasn't something we'd order again. BUT, the honey garlic sauce that was drizzed over it was amazing. I used it to dip my crusts and now I think I've changed my whole pizza game plan. Remember to save room for the dessert. Cinnamon sugar covered dough bites. I think they'd benefit from a side of homemade caramel sauce just because one order is a lot of dried dough to eat, but it was YUM!!!! I'm really glad we saved room for that. It's like the guilty pleasure after a guilty meal haha!

Good pizza, good service. We got take out from Pizza Pino the other day, and had a good experience. I like that they use a good amount of cheese on their pizza will be returning again!

A true hidden-gem! Located within 10-15 minutes drive from Ajax Waterfront, I would definitely recommend this restaurant if you are in the area and craving pizza but want something less "typical" (aka your neighborhood pizza chains). Slightly tucked away, Pizza Pino looks somewhat like a convenience store from the outside. Although not currently opened for dine-in due to COVID, the restaurant itself has a nice, historic/ retro vibe. We ordered the Pino Special which came with pepperoni, bacon, mushrooms, green peppers, onions. Not my usual go-to pizza toppings but boy was I pleasantly surprised. Everything just tasted so well together! To top it off, as someone who isn't a huge fan of crusts, I found myself finishing their pizza crust without even realizing! Their crust was perfectly crispy, not too heavy on the dough, and just all around delicious. Our medium pizza (8 slices) lasted a total of two meals. We were pretty full after our first four slices so we decided to save the remaining for the next day. Honestly, it was as good as new heated up. Absolutely no complaints with this quality pizza place!

I moved here from Winnipeg and this is the first time my girlfriend and I had Pizza Pino! I'm a courier for Skip the dishes and I've picked up orders there several times! Always smelled amazing! I finally tried it and holy moly! The best I've ever had! The crust is perfect! You gotta go!

Really one of the best pizza places in Ajax and Pickering area. Lots of toppings on the pizza and you can also choose between thin and thick crust. Also the deep fried mushrooms and the garlic pizza are delish!

Can you see how much stuff is actually on this pizza????

After much anticipation, we finally had a chance to sample what other Yelpers voted as "the best pizza in Durham region." As much as I value fellow Yelper's opinions, I was still skeptical coming from some disagreeable experiences from previous Yelp recommendations. We drove into this very nondescript plaza on a lazy Saturday afternoon looking for lunch. We were greeted and seated promptly by a very efficient young server who was also our pizza maker. Since it was our first time, we decided to stick to something "safe" like a medium size pizza (Pino Special, I think) and a Caesar salad to share between the two of us. What first came out was a huge mound of over-dressed romaine in store bought dressing with a very generous amount of house-made croutons and enough bacon bits (the real thing) to clog a grown man's artery! To be fair, I have to mention that we were given an option of receiving our salad tossed or with the dressing on the side. And since we opted for the salad to be tossed in the kitchen, we can't really complain about the dressing overload part. But let me just say that my husband is a real bacon lover and even he proceeded to push extra bacon bits he couldn't consume to the side of his plate which by the end of our belly-busting meal, created a small tower. The salad was so huge that by the time our pizza arrived, we were already pretty full. And then the behemoth of a pizza was placed on our table.....and we just looked at each other and burst into laughter at the thickness of this thing. We had read numerous reviews about pizza pino's pizza being thick crust but seriously....this was like having two regular pizzas (like what you'll get from pizza pizza) stacked on top of each other. Again, not necessarily a bad thing for those wanting a hefty meal but for us, it was supposed to be lunch. Our pizza was LOADED with pepperoni slices, mushrooms, even more bacon bits, I think there were some green peppers and soooooooooo much cheese. I can't even begin to describe what this thing looked like. (please refer to the photos) I had ONE slice and could not dare grab another one. My stout hubby had impressive TWO slices. The shock of the thickness aside, the pizza was tasty. How could it not be with that much goodness??? It's just a shame that we were so full from our salad. We packed up the rest (more than half of the medium pizza) for dinner. We ended up eating the leftovers over 2 meals! Now, the million dollar question is, would I return to Pizza Pino. I think I might....that is if I could recruit enough heavy eaters to justify ordering a pizza that big (or that thick).

    XL pepperoni pizza.

We had (take out) #Pizza Margharita I appoint this as the best Margharita in Durham region. No complain. The crust, tomato sauce, cheese and big generous aromatic basil leaves - simple beauty. #Pearfect Bite This is added to another favorite of mine at 468F Wood Fired Pizza! Sweet and savory combination - Sweet pear slices meet saltiness from pancetta and 2 cheese Fior di latte, flurry ricotta. Walnut pieces added extra texture, and acidity & sweetness from glazed balsamic completes the taste of the whole. Highly recommended! #Di Parma This is good, tad salty side, but I appreciated the bitterness of arugula, nuttiness from parmigiano, and again the reduced glazed balsamic' rounding up of the whole flavors. I cannot wait coming back here again to try new pizza items (but I cannot miss Margharita - that is my must item)!

The vibe inside is very bright and open on the ground floor. The second floor has larger tables, and a bit more dark and refined. But the downstairs shouts "Family!", and there were a couple there while eating. It's lonely eating solo sometimes, but on the other hand, you can usually get a bar seat when the place is packed, which is what I did. Service was quick and cheerful. They have an extensive menu of Italian dishes, but I wanted pizza, so I ordered their red sauce choice called "Parmigiana". (When do I never want pizza? That's a good question!) The pizza came in good time, and was the perfect size for someone like me. Two normal people could also probably share it. I shed a little teat when it came, because it was uncut, with a steak knife and fork for me to do the honors. Not a tear from the pizza, but from good memories of Mangia E Bevi, whete they served pizza the same way...sob. The pizza came with lots of parmesan cheese added either after or late in the baking process, so it wasn't gross and burnt. Also thin sliced eggplant, with that goopy yet chewy texture I like in my eggplant on pizzas. The sauce was savory with a hint of tomato sweetness, and the crust was chewy and a bit darkly blistered but not burnt. Wonderful! A great pizza place, and they do have a huge menu of things besides pizza. I overheard one trio say they drove three hours to get there, and they said it was worth it. And I would definitely agree.

I recently had a craving for pizza, and was feeling a little nostalgic and ordered a pizza from here with half tomatoes and mushroom and the other half hot peppers and green peppers. Upon arrival to the store there was no one inside, but the guy soon popped in from the front and had my order ready. When I got home, I opened the box to discover that the half hot peppers-- were half pepperoni which I cannot eat, nor can the people I was eating with. Not to mention that I could literally count the bits of green pepper. We tried to call the store, with no answer. So we drove back instead. Store closed (before 7:30 and the posted close time is 8pm). So we diligently picked off the pepperoni -- I took a bite, some pepperoni under the cheese. So no one ate the pizza. We tried to contact the establishment on Facebook, to which the page manager (Brian) apologized and said he would try to contact the manager who would get in touch with me that night or the next day. Two days later and still no word, so I tried to call the store again (at 4 pm -- posted closing time is 5). No answer.
