Stopped on our way up north during the middle of a snow storm and everyone was starving. Even that didn't really have an impact on how the pizza tasted. When we came in, there was no seating however, a family was taking up two tables unnecessarily and they quickly left. It is a very casual place, you can see the entirety of the restaurant including the kitchen from about anywhere you stand. There were only two other smaller parties that ordered before us but it still took 30+ minutes for us to get two pizzas, which felt long. They ended up throwing in the cheese bread because we apparently ordered some type of combo without knowing. I'm not going to say it's the worst pizza I've ever had, yet questionable of if I'd rather have a frozen. Pizza was floppy, not necessarily in a good way. The employees were very nice. We were able to grab our own drinks from the fridge and pay for it all at the end. We saw another group order calzones & being able to see them being made, looked a lot better than the pizzas. So if we are ever stuck coming here again we will go for that, semi decent spot if needed. read more

I was looking forward to trying this place. We called and were told a hour and a half wait. Fine as we wanted to try it. We get there at exactly 1.5 hours later. Our pizza is ready and cold. Seriously the box wasn't even warm. I was a little disappointed but the place smelled good so I was still excited. It was terrible. I am clearly in the minority here, but this pizza is just not good and I don't understand the hype. I ordered a large vegetarian pizza for pickup. I am not picky about my toppings, but it was nearly 100% covered in olives-- both black and green. There were a few mushrooms buried under there, but the olives were seriously overwhelming. What's more, there were so many olives and sauce, the pizza was incredibly soggy and floppy. So I already wasn't impressed, but thought, okay, the end of the crust will at least be good, you can't really mess that up. Unfortunately, even that was hard as a brick. I absolutely hate wasting food but could only conquer one piece before I had to cut my losses. My parents got a supreme and were equally unimpressed. read more

There is a reason they are #1 in Cadillac, they are an excellent pizza. We had four teens and four adults eating; we split 3 large pizzas and had a bunch left over. I cannot day when I will be I will be back to Cadillac but I would eat here again. read more

I personally am really picky about pizza. Decided one night we was tired of the same old pizza places and decided to try this place. Went in and placed our order...An olive pizza and a pepperoni pizza..and the staff was very friendly. We waited for about 25 minutes and received our order and continued home. I will say the boys and the Boyfriend loved it. I didn't care much for the crust. So in conclusion...yes I would recommend this place for off the beaten path pizza. I personally would only order for another family get together..but its not for me. The staff is why this place is 4 star. read more

I've been going to Pizza Plus since I was a little kid. It was "Dave & Jim's" back then - we still call it that! The quality and value of food has remained great over the years, which is really impressive. I don't think the decor has changed in the last ~25 years either, but that's part of the charm! Whenever I visit home, I always want to stop by. The pizza is really good, but my favorite is the toasted Original Sub. The special sauce is truly amazing, I always ask for an extra side! read more

Excellent pizza!!! I travel all over the country with my job and eat pizza in a lot of different cities. This pizza is up there with some of the best. We got three 16" pizzas, two had 5 toppings each and one had 2 toppings. Also got two orders of cheesy garlic bread. Total was only $49. Fed 8 of us and we have leftovers. Not very many Mom & Pop places tossing there own dough anymore. The pizza there are definitely made with a passion and I love the crispy cracker like crust. There is just about it. Passing through to Upper Peninsula and we happened to run across this place by accident but we're glad we did! Small, genuinely friendly mom and pop pizza joint with excellent pizza. Family loved the flaky, crispy dough with plenty of cheese and topping- New York style. Great price too. Hands down THE best Pizza in town! I have tried all the pizza places in town and NONE come close to Pizza Plus. The thing I like the most about it is their thin crust. I was always a thick crust kinda guy until I came here. Can't stand it now (too doughy). Great sauce and toppings. Love the cheese! Pockets are great and subs are good. Stopped for lunch on the way to Northern Michigan based on other reviews and the pizza and sandwiches didn't disappointed. Both kids loved their cheese pizza and my chicken sandwich with ranch dressing hit the spot. Sandwich was huge , I ate half and my husband devoured the other half.
