Hands down 5/5. Cool old wood bar, warm and welcoming. Came here for a beer and discovered they had CHAMPAGNE ON DRAFT!!! And it was from Mawby! And of course it was sex and it's a nice champagne. So basically SEX on DRAFT! Honestly though, interesting food menu, good beers on draft. Give them a try! I'll go back when I am around.

Friday afternoon lunch. Here is what we liked: * Busy and still had immediate seating. We chose to sit at the bar. * Friendly staff and attentive. * Their Amber beer was quite good *Chicken Shwarma wrap with tots was really good. What could of been better: * only thing I could say, the onions were sliced incredibly thin on the wrap, got loss in the flavors. Was still really good though. Fun place, will stop again

We ordered the Chicken Florentine Quesadillas and it was delicious. We also ordered the Cuban with frsh made chips. It was just as delicious. The service was slow but the food was amazing.

This was the best overall meal and experience we've had at a restaurant in a long time. The Clam Lake Vanilla Shipwreck beer was great, their buffalo chicken dip appetizer was such an amazing, elevated version of that classic app, and their special dessert for the evening (tres leches cake) was to die for. That's not even to mention the incredible pizza we had! We got a build your own pizza with candied bacon, pepperoni, jalapeños, and pineapple. This exceeded all expectations. They make their candied bacon in-house, and I don't think any pizza will ever come close to what this simple ingredient added to the flavor of it. Lastly, our server - Randall N. - was so kind, fun, honest, and engaging! He truly topped this experience off for us.

Good food. Nice homemade soups. The clam chowder had a great flavor. The soup du jour was chorizo potato soup and was also Smokey and delicious tasting. We split the horseradish beef sandwich on ciabatta with an Au jus for dipping. Everything was good. The homemade chips were tastier than the fries. Kids menu is available. Huge beer menu to choose from and a nice view of the lake. A nice stop on your way up north!

This is our go to spot as a stopping spot heading up north! It's pretty unassuming but a great little spot in Cadillac and I love the ability to sit at the bar and grab a quick bite. They have great serving sizes and always are super friendly when we stop in. I think my favorite thing is the club melt though! Absolutely delicious and if you're not super hungry, it's perfect for sharing. There's a great little parking lot nearby for free parking which makes it really convenient. I look forward to trying more things next time!

We have been here numerous times and each time it's been great! The staff is always friendly and the service spot on. The place was busy as usual and people were having a great time with the vibe being cheerful and welcoming. The food was great! We tried pizzas and one was a bit better than the other for our taste buds. We ordered one dill pickle pizza (amazing!) and the BLT with candied bacon (good but too sweet for us). The pizzas were done perfectly with more than enough toppings on both.

Food wasn't great. Ahi Tuna Bowl was plain, lots of overcooked rice. Ambiance of the restaurant was nice, cool vibe. Restaurant was busy, so maybe I just ordered the wrong thing.

    Lots of Beers!

Excellent selection of beers! Bartender was very attentive and knowledgeable of the beers and food selections. Cozy place, plenty of seating for all. Family friendly as well. Enjoy!

Stumbled on this place looking for lunch. Was truly amazed at the great food. Best New England clam chowder I have ever had.

The food was excellent. The Cuban sandwich was the best ever. The Philly steak quesadillas were amazing.

Great beer selection, 8/10 food, good atmosphere, food is a bit overpriced for what it is however.

Ordered the Angry Jack Hammer with bison substituted for the beef patty. Cajun seared, fire roasted jalapeños, pepper jack, chipotle sauce -- it had a great kick without being overwhelming. The bison was a nice touch, leaner and cleaner than a standard burger but still packed with flavor. If you're passing through northern Michigan, this place is worth the stop. Will definitely be back next time I'm in the area.

Sure would have been nice to have been told about that prior to ordering drinks and appetizer. And honestly, if you run out of burger, there are plenty of places to pick up some ground beef within a mile of their place. Also out of tea. How do you run out of tea? Get a tea bag and add some water. I guess it is easier to just be lazy and do nothing. Lastly, the bartender is quite the snippy one. I don't think this place has a thought of the customer though from the other reviews I see. Food Well, my wife did get the French Dip. Meat to bun ratio was definitely in the bread and their profit margin side. I'll attach a photo. More like a bread sandwich. Fries are really good. The jalapeño nails were ok. They say they prepare them there, but they sure tasted like frozen and fried. I'll defer to them saying it's in-house, but that isn't saying much for them then. So, 50/50 on the food. Service is not good like others are saying. And it takes forever to get the simplest of menu item. There are a bunch of nice places in Lake City. If I were visiting, I'd avoid this place and take my $$ elsewhere. I read another persons review that the owner was drinkin' in his place and being less than cordial around his customers. I got that vibe all day long here. Your choice. Just saying.

I've been there twice now…read more First night (Saturday) there was very loud, derogatory rap music playing. Families with kids eat there, they should not have to hear stuff like that. It was very hard to communicate with the server due to the noise. The actual menu is a lot smaller then what is shown on their website. Especially fish options. I had grouper tenders which were small and mostly breading. Not worth it. Fries were excellent. Tartar sauce appeared to be pure mayo, no sign of relish or lemon at all. Ketchup, mustard, and salt were the only condiments on the table, not sure if anything else was available, like cider vinegar or even pepper. It's a pub, you would think all that stuff to be automatic. Second night (9 pm Sunday) I tried to go elsewhere because of my previous night's experience, but not many other options. Most of Alma was already closed. Tonight there was no music playing, so I was able to have a conversation. I had the olive burger with steak fries, my son had boneless wings with Thai sauce and waffle fries. Everything was very good, and a good value for the money. I guess I need a third night to be a tie-breaker.
