This was my first time stopping in and it is just like other locations I've been to. We came during a busy evening rush but were sat quickly and had fresh food available throughout our stay. We were asked if we had any pizza flavor requests when we entered which was nice! I didn't know they took requests so I didn't have any, but there were plenty of standard and novel flavors to choose from while we were there including taco, Mac n cheese, buffalo chicken, etc. There was much more than pizza including fried chicken, mashed potatoes, fried fish, vegetables, pasta, and several other common dinner items. The dessert pizza was our favorite part of the visit! I loved the cinnamon pizza, and the fresh cookie pizza was absolutely perfect paired with their soft serve ice cream machine. I don't know of any other buffets in town, although this is more geared towards kids I'm glad to have found a place like this with a variety of food options in a buffet set up! This was not my choice of a restaurant, but I went with a group. It is a nice location for a group because of the long tables. The salad bar was decent and the pizza was hot. They will also make and deliver a pizza to your table if it's not on the buffet. The highlight of the meal was the buffalo fried chicken. It was moist and had a zippy flavor without being too spicy, like buffalo chicken can be. My grandma always chose this restaurant for the chicken, and now I know why. Change the name to Chicken Ranch? Guilty pleasure, but I also love the dessert pizza. Good for groups and children because everyone can find something, from salad bar to soft serve ice cream. Took four or five tries to get the order submitted; the trick is to order specialty pizzas as-is, and then go back to customize it after putting it your shopping cart. If you're going to eat here, be prepared to have your patience tried. While I find it admirable to try to employ the mentally handicapped, when it gets to the point that there are three or four people waiting on you to finish your plate so they can get it back to the kitchen, it gets a little annoying. In addition, they managed to get a full plate of food that I'd just sat down with. I'd gone up to the buffet and returned to find my silverware gone, set my plate down, went to get more silverware, and my plate was gone when I returned. I'm not really complaining but just be aware of this if you're going to eat and prepare accordingly. As far as the food, it's so-so. Nothing really great about it. The buffet isn't huge so the selection is limited but they will make pizza to order for you. My biggest complaint is the atmosphere. Religious music blaring through the restaurant at about three levels higher than most background music gave me a huge headache and I actually left sooner than I normally would have because of it. It also didn't help that I managed to hit the place about the same time as about 20 grade school kids came in who were all over the place. Maybe it was just bad timing for me but it was this way the previous time I passed through here too. I might not try a third. read more

Normally Pizza Ranch is my favorite pizza place in town but I tried their new pretzel crust that cost $2 more and got the regular crust just with pretzel sauce and not fully cooked. Have never seen a pale pretzel in my life. Also the bottom crust was mushy. The cheese sauce was cold, would have thought it would have been heated. Guess I should know better than to order pizza during a football game. Wasn't concerned with the longer delivery time, but do expect my order to be cooked and prepared correctly. They have a pizza buffet with pastas and mashed potatoes and obviously pizza. They also have a salad bar with a bunch of toppings and pudding for some reason. Been here multiple times. Some experiences are better than others. Came in late one night with a large group. We purchased buffets and when we paid she didn't tell us they were closing the buffet in 10 minutes even tho they were open for another two hours. Pretty disappointed in the staff for lack of communication. We could have just ordered a couple fresh pizzas. A young child in our group saw staff walking around with ice cream cones eating ice cream. She couldn't find any cones so we asked staff where they were. They informed us they done have cones for ice cream. As we were walking back to our table with a bowl of ice cream, sure enough staff is walking around with cones. Other times, during rushes, pizza is changed frequently and usually there is a variety to choose from. The fried chicken here is very good, but at times it seems old and dry, like it was refried from the night before. Chicken strips and macaroni and cheese can usually be found on kids night. Salad bar is ok but depending what you're looking for it can be lacking. Lots of canned fruits to choose from, macaroni salads or potato salad, usually a pudding or two, and a few vegetable choices for salad toppings, usually always have tomatoes and cucumbers. Dessert pizzas are always good. Ice cream is okay. It remind me of frozen cool whip more than ice cream but good to accompany the dessert pizzas. During busy hours staff is frantic to clean off tables as they continue to let people in when tables aren't available and will clear your tables off if nobody is at the table. So beware if your whole group goes to the buffet together, your table maybe cleared when returning. read more

I'm just going to throw it out there, yes people can eat it quicker than what they can make it, when it comes to pizza but I've never really seen the salad or chicken bar empty at all! They can make your own special pizza to order when you arrive so if we want pizza that's usually what we opt for! Food is yummy and quality is consistent. My wife and I are both Senior Citizens. I had purchased Pizza Ranch $10 Gift Certificates from Big Bonus Bucks. The last time my wife and I used one, I looked at my receipt and found I was charged for one senior and one regular adult priced buffet meal. I was told it had to be regular adult price when using the Certificate. When is a Senior not a Senior? Prior to this when using a certificate it was always two Seniors.
