The foods really good and it's a great place for kids if they are picky as they have different foods and pizzas

Picked up an online order around noon today. Unfriendly staffer, order was wrong, chicken tasted like it was cooked in old oil. Not good!

We ordered a large order from this Pizza Ranch in Washington, Iowa. We ordered: mashed potatoes and gravy, 8pc crispy chicken box, a medium thin crust pepperoni pizza, a medium thin crust Canadian bacon and sauerkraut pizza, a medium thin crust mac and cheese pizza, and a gluten-free spinach, bacon, mushroom, feta pizza, and a half cactus half chocolate cactus dessert pizza. Everything was delivered on time for when I scheduled it for and was made very well. The gluten-free pizza got shifted around in the box on delivery but everything still tasted good. True fact... came 2 days in a row because YES it's that good. Freshest fried chicken-- so fresh & crispy outside & moist inside. Don't bother trying it at home & having a HUGE mess & a pot of grease to dispose of environmentally. Hello taco pizza! I think this truly is a Midwest thing. I have NEVER seen it on the eastern or western seaboards. Not to spicy- just a hint of heat & fresh chips on top- oh My! Who knew dessert pizza with gooey apples, cinnamon & icing could exist? Pair it up with the soft serve ice cream & blow your mind & tastebuds. Shout out to the manager, Byron Pringle! Staff is happy,& helpful. They keep salad bar, pizza & chicken as well as the desserts we'll-stocked. All around great service!.is mouth watering fresh & not too spicy. read more

Always good and consistent food. Very pleased with every location I've gone to so far.

I am not a fan of any Pizza Ranch, so my rating reflects that. This location is cleaner than most. I simply dislike buffets (of I call them "Barf"fets). Some people love them, but I see unsanitary things happening at them and I lose my appetite. The only reason I frequent a place like this is if I am submitting to someone else's desire to eat here. The salad offerings were less than appealing. To be honest, my review is sounding harsh, but take the average of all reviews and don't rely on my tainted feelings. I just am not a fan of Chain Restaurant and buffets, so this poor place doesn't have a chance with me. read more

I eat here on occasion because i live in the area and theres not many options and my son like to eat here. Im not one to complain and i never leave reviews but enough is enough. I havent had a good experience here one time. They wait till all the food is almost gone before they start refilling anything, the pizza is usually sitting there forever and it gets cold and hard, the tables are never wiped off and i really mean that every time im there every table is dirty. I always leave a tip if someone actually comes to pick up the dirty plates. The price is way too high to make up for any of this. But my biggest complaint is the front door weighs a million lbs you can barely get in. I cant imagine a disabled person eating here. The owners of this company need to stop worrying so much sbout the price of chicken, pay their employees more so they are more inclined to get the job done, and get new management immediately. read more

Much nicer than the old location that was in the Sycamore Mall! (Yes, I know it's called something else now.. but it'll always be the sycamore mall to me!) There's a game room for kid's (and the young at heart). The staff is very friendly and polite. The food tasted pretty much the same as any other location. Definitely a good place to go if you want affordable food at a decent price! read more

Always a family favorite. Kids love ordering a Mac & cheese pizza when we order our buffet. The last time we went, they forgot to bring it to our table though, and found the pizza on the buffet. Luckily we were able to snag a piece before it was all gone. read more

Ate here today & the place was filthy. Looked like it hadn't been cleaned in days. As I was sitting there eating a roach crawled on my leg. This place needs some major cleaning. read more

Lets just say the only reason my husband and I ever choose to eat here is because our kids think it is good. So we will very occasionally treat them to it. I think a majority of the staff that I have had contact with is incredibly rude, which is a huge negative in my book. I feel the price is high for the low variety of food they offer. The food is always running out and it seems ton take forever to refill. We use to love the chicken but not recently. My favorite food is the desert pizza and ice cream. However I'm usually not lucky to get any desert pizza since it is always out. read more

Not impressed at all tonight! Ordered for a delivery, food comes over an hour later, missing an item and 2 sauces, called and was told "I'm sorry, I don't know what happened to your so and so, it was sent with the driver, but we are all out now so I'll just credit your account for the next time you order with us".... it was almost closing time so im assuming he just didn't want to make it and send it back out..... I'll be calling back in the morning and talking to the manager.... read more

The chicken is my favorite part. Or maybe the gravy! Probably the gravy, but the chicken is pretty good too, especially the outsides. I don't have much pizza unless it has a lot of vegetables on it. I love coming here so much for the food and because of the lights. I've always loved the lights. My mom wishes she could take the food home with her! read more

Hadn't been to Washington Pizza Ranch for probably 6 weeks, my how things can change. First I noticed there were no boiled eggs for salad making and some lettuce was a little brown. Went over to pick up a piece of chicken and there were just 2 pieces left. Got a biscuit and it was stone cold. Went to get my glass of tea and it was a very pale color, tasted as it looked. Back for more chicken, mate wanted a wing, no wings and just a few thighs and legs left. Obviously they were rationing chicken tonight. If tray is empty they tend to serve less chicken, duh. And to top that, there was blood running from the joint of the thigh I ate. Don't think you're to serve it that way. Mate went to get ice cream, she said it's not up to expectations. Kind of icy looking and watery pale looking. It used to be you could rely on consistency at Pizza Ranch, not so any more. And the price went up 30-50 cents. read more

They never have enough chicken out. We were there at prime time and there were two pieces in the pan. When they would bring more out it would only be a few pieces at a time. The thing that made me upset more was the way they wipe tables. The gal had her rag and would wipe the tables and then stick the edge of the towel in her jean pocket and then pull it out and keep wiping more tables and then she wiped the butt part of a kids high chair and stuck it back in her pocket and pulled it out once again to wipe another table. I never saw her put it in a bucket of clean water or anything else the whole time we were there but she continued to pull it out of her pocket and kept wiping tables. YUCK! And turned us off completely! read more
