To pay a business $37 for 2 pizzas (that I drove and picked up) and in return receive this garbage should be considered a crime. Especially when you get a manager on the phone and he tries to pass blame rather than apologize. I take no joy in this really. I drove the pizza back to the restaurant because it was clear the male manager I was speaking to on the phone did not believe that this bug was BAKED into the pie. He kept trying to say "it probably flew in". I took this pizza straight out of YOUR kitchen! There was zero space or time for a bug to fly in, tuck itself in for the night under a pepperoni, and get BAKED. The reason I've felt conflicted about writing a review is that the other manager I spoke to (the male manager I spoke to on the phone didn't have the guts to show his face when I came to the restaurant) was the nicest woman named Dawn. From what I understand she does a great job with quality control but was busy when my pizza came out. It shouldn't be one person's responsibility to ensure quality. At no point when they were dressing, baking, cutting or boxing my pizza did they see this? Really? You expect me to believe that? This was negligent at best and malicious at worst. Either way it's disgusting and if you have any kind of self worth at all you will not eat from here. Just get a frozen pizza or something instead. It won't be $40 and it won't come with any unrequested extra protein. The 1 star I have to leave is for Dawn. Dawn, I'm sorry that your coworkers suck.

She then tries to say I did not pay for it yet and I said I did pay for it on Uber eats and she tells me "that's not how it works" and then politely said that actually is how it works and it's paid for and she says hold on and stomped off to the back where she then left me at the front for another 10 minutes and I had to go ask what the hell is going on and all there are still standing there just throwing their arms up like we don't know what's going on. She's making sauces. Anyway, I finally am able to leave after they confirm I did pay, I get home and find out I'm missing all my wings. I will never ever ever ever be back there. What a shit show.

Fareway Washington has 10 different varieties of Brew Pub, Hy Vee has 4 simple plain pizzas. Fareway has chicken bacon ranch and Buffalo Chicken, Hy Vee has pepperoni and mushrooms. Maybe it's because Hy Vee got burned trying to sell the cardboard Roma pizzas, but to even use the Brew Pub cooler to sell other pizza is a bit silly. Invest in Brew Pub and quit half assing it.

On January 26, 2019, I ordered flowers and a food gift basket to be delivered to my parents (who are both 87), who were unable to get out of the house due to the severe cold temperatures and snow. Rita promptly got the order together and within 1 1/2 she had it delivered to my parents. The flowers were beautiful and the food basket was terrific. Although my husband and I live in Nevada, when we frequently go to visit the folks, we always show the Washington HyVee.
