I think this was probably the best restaurant we tried while in Brussels…read more We were craving Italian. Specifically, my partner was craving spaghetti bolognese. I did a quick search on Yelp, found that this place had good ratings and wasn't too far away and so off we went. When we arrived at about 8pm it was busy, so much so we were worried that we wouldn't get a seat. Fortunately they had just one table left on the upper floor. So, we got comfy, ordered a carafe of the house red and had a look at the menu. The menu didn't feature any pizza which surprised me but, since we were both firmly in pasta moods by now, we didn't mind. Our waitress gave us a list of delicious sounding specials and, after a little deliberation, I decided to have the Rigatoni Louisa, which was all broccoli, pancetta and blue cheese. Unfortunately, they were out of spaghetti bolognese which was nearly a disaster but lasagne was on the menu so it all worked out. It was also delicious. Everything was so perfectly cooked and the atmosphere of the restaurant was so warm and friendly, I could easily have stayed there all night. We wrapped up with coffees which were also lovely and I spent the rest of our trip wondering if we shouldn't just go back there again. If we make a return trip to Brussels, I will.

Six of us trekked to this place on a rainy Saturday, and it was a real crazy journey getting there as it happened when both the metro and tram we were on had disruptions due to roadworks going on. But the warmth of service and the excellent food made the hour's journey so worth it. Also, it was a mini-Yelp event as Lauren A. was also included in our dinner party!! So between the six of us we got x 3 meter long half & half pizzas, drinks, desserts and coffee. Mum and I split a vegetarian and a "Mamma" pizza - I made this choice based on previous Yelper's recommendations to try the Friarelli (which for me tasted like wild mustard greens rather than the broccoli described in another review) and it was delicious, especially with the spicy salami. We also shared a 1 litre of the house red and got a bottle of water. Towards the end of the meal, folks got coffee and I split a Tiramisu 3-ways. So I gotta say, I am not really a Tiramisu kinda gal, but the Tiramisu here really blew me away and I would totally get it again. I loved the firmness of the sponge, the alcohol taste was just right, the cream tastes fresh and rich, and then the best part - it was beautiful presented with lovely earthy chocolate syrup, lavishly spread out over the plate - I licked that plate half clean! We could not finish our pizza, so got take-away boxes and then the 4 of us who were splitting a separate bill, got a great surprise as cost was under €25 per person, so absolute bargain! It was a totally lovely evening with great food and totally hope to come back and try other pizzas!

Also, be prepared for them to laugh and yell "COCA-COLA!!" when you order a coke. I have no idea why, but it's pretty funny.

Service was excellent. I do not recall the name of the pizza I had, but it was a specialty white pizza with ham, rocket pesto, cherry tomatoes and a creamy cheese. It was excellent.
