Cheap yummies! Love every panini they make!…read more This place has a few standard paninis that they have every day/week, but they also change a few up - so you never know what they're going to come up with! There is not one panini which is over 6 euro, so it should fit each person's budget for lunch. The sizes of the paninis depends on what kind you want, but my personal favorite is the pastrami - which they've had more often than not recently. However, the eggplant and sun dried tomato panini is super delicious as well (but they don't have it all the time). The reason I did not give this place a perfect score, was because the quality of the paninis can vary. Most of the time, the paninis are up to par, although sometimes I feel like they skimp on the fillings.

I have to agree with my friend Molly on this one!…read more The artichoke and bergkäse panini is drool-worthy. Also, I don't know of any other lunch that can equally satisfy me for under 4euro.Cheap yummies! Love every panini they make! As for the location, it is in the area of the Viktualienmarkt that is really close to the Schrannenhalle. There can be a short line, but when Molly has brought me here, I have never waited more than a few minutes. I think most people flock so some of the more popular stalls at lunch time, so don't worry about waiting half of your lunch break for a panini hahah. I can't, however, give Luiginos 5 stars because the panini isn't going to blow your mind, but it will at least leave you happy :)

They even accommodated my "medium rare" order, and I actually finished the whole enormous thing. The guys in the truck were friendly and worked fast, and I'm still thinking about the sweet relish and perfectly-cooked beef. I'll update once I've tried them properly on their turf, hopefully with some fries on the side; and this WILL happen, because I'm determined to track them down for another excellent burger!

Munich's first gourmet food truck has definitely got people talking about street food, and these boys should pat themselves on the back for that! Where they lack in seating (for obvious reasons), they certainly make up for in taste, portion size, and flavor :) Honestly, it took me about 3 minutes to finish this burger.....it wasn't that small, it just tasted THAT good! I'd argue that the burgers are on par, if not BETTER, than some of the sit-down burger places around the city......I'm talking to you Burger House and Burger&Bier!!! I'm really pumped to try one of their steaks soon too! Also, I want to hug these boys for their sweet potato fries. You make a Southern girl's heart smile with those. The only thing confusing to me is the guacamole dip.....let the fries speak for themselves! They're good without you forming out the extra money on avocados :D Hmmmm I think I see a visit to Grillin' Me Softly very very soon. Maybe Praterinsel this Saturday?! Remember, it is a food truck, so check out their website http://grillin.me/ for their daily locations :) TWO THUMBS UP JUNGS!!

Civilized because its main attendees are locals and not the crazy visitors that turn Oktoberfest into a festival of bad behavior and much public vomiting. We had a great time in both tents - beer, food, and entertainment were fabulous. Would love to come back!!

We had such a good time here! I was in town with my fiancee on a work trip exploring the city and…read moresurrounding areas and was thrilled to find out we just happened to be here during the two weeks this smaller, spring version of Oktoberfest was in Munich. Awesome! We rode the subway here and walked about 10 minutes into the large parade grounds/open field where this event (and Oktoberfest) is held annually. It was very easy to find with signage pointing us in the right direction. It's free to enter and roam around and shop and eat. We ate all kinds of street foods from the vendors and saw a few small "beer gardens" you can walk into and get a drink and stand and eat and talk. There are only two main tents at this spring festival, which is fine with me, because it hasn't happened in a few years due to COVID, both were completely packed with prior reservations and we weren't able to find a seat inside to eat. So, for the foreseeable future, I suggest you make reservation in advance if you really, really want to eat inside. You can find tons of traditional Bavarian food here and other things like churros and crepes to help satisfy you. There are a ton of fun rides as well that the younger crowd seemed to really be enjoying. With all of the foods I ate, didn't seem like a good idea to me! Make sure to bring cash because, most of the vendors aren't going to take cards. Some might, but it's just a better bet to have around $50-70 and if you plan to drink a lot, I'd bring even more.
