We choose Falken to have a late lunch and sat outside. The food was very good. I had the wienerschnitzel and my wife had the carbonara. Both were excellent and well portioned. The service was excellent and I like that the food took a little time to be prepared instead of coming out minutes after we ordered. Considering this is Switzerland, the prices were very reasonable. If you make a visit to Chur, you cannot go wrong dining here. Highly recommended!

This review is actually for their other restaurant, Kirchner's Stubli, which does not have a listing, but is where you can enjoy the fondue. I was happy to learn that they (temporarily) had gluten free bread, but I guess that was only for the World Cup of cross-country skiing that was in Davos when we were. I hope they will offer it all the time to accommodate people with allergies. But even without, I found the cheese fondue with just vegetables for dipping to be fine for my gluten allergy. Thank you for some of the best and most welcoming service we received while in Davos!

The pastas were beautifully plated and the cheeseburger was hands down our favorite item ordered. We enjoyed the food and view during subset so much we returned as we were heading back to Zurich. They have the menu in English for easy ordering. Dogs were allowed to dine on the patio. Capped off with great service, we really enjoyed this spot.

Their boletus (porcini) mushroom soup was the best mushroom soup I have ever had in my life. My wife had their Latte Machiato Cabbage Pear soup which was also excellent. My main course was the osso bucco while my wife had their venison special (most Swiss restaurants feature venison during September). For dessert, I had Gebackene Apfelradeln mit weissem Zimtschaum which is a baked apples with a cinnamon whipped cream. My wife had the dessert special which was a deconstructed plum knodel. An excellent meal and definitely the best we had in both Chur and in Switzerland as a whole.
