Impressively terrible first impression. I only reached out for a quote but immediately regretted engaging with them. The quote was supposed to be for a ~20K remodel job in Wilton/Weston area. They responded with Sorry I do not travel to New Fairfield I'm located in Milford about an hour away I don't know if you noticed where I'm located but you're too far for me sorry Confused, I reiterated that the job was in Fairfield county (not New Fairfield) and only about 20-30 minutes away. However if they didn't service that area I would report it to Yelp to avoid others getting auto matched (which is an annoying Yelp "feature"). They shot back: First of all, New Milford is 57 minutes away, and thats at 1145 at night. During the day even longer. The towns i service are CLEARLY LISTED. I dont appreciate your negative atritude, nor borhering me at midnight. I have 48 reviews, all 5 Star, because i respond immediately, and give estimates w/i 24 hours( once again, to clients in the towns I SERVICE). . So Christine H. , i wish you nothing but the best in your need for a framer, this week. My reputation is 30 years strong, incredibly respected, and HIGHLY REFERRED. CHEERS And your pompous arrogance is humorous. And hmmm looks like it says 06812 is where your looking for contractors, but i guess you misconstrued me for a mind reader . Shucks, im just a well read contracor that hasnt had a single problem w a single client in 30 years, and God himself has saved me from wasting my time dealing w YOU! ;). Remember, theres NOTHING you can do to me, to bother, effect,disrupt, annoy, nor anger me. Just humoring me. My wife and I were in need of having the exterior of our house painted. We did what most people do and had contractors come out to the house and give us a quote. Most companies send a sales representative to sell you the services they are going to provide. Pat not only showed up to provide us the quote but also was on the job directing and working with his crew. They spent the right amount of time preparing the house, chipping and sanding all the shingles and getting the surface ready for paint. Pat was always available to answer questions we had throughout the project via text, phone or in person. Pat and his crew paid attention to detail. They laid down tarps to collect all chipped paint, they were mindful of the landscape around the house and cleaned up the job site at the end of each day. He walked around my home for about 5 minutes and then he gave me a price for painting my entire interior. We called that to get our interior painted and new hardwood floors installed. I was very impressed with the very first phone call as he actually answered my call live was at my house after work the same day took a look at everything and was able to get us a price that night and a start date which was within a week. The quality of the installation Was impeccable we also had the floors stained and polyurethane and along with a highly professional paint job which has the straightest of lines and that's without any tape I was truly amazed our house looks like it was built last week. Pat did a great job for us. I submitted a request for a quote on painting two bedrooms on a Sunday, he replied by email that day and called to follow up Monday. He came and gave us a quote on the spot that day and the two rooms were painted on Wednesday in one day (Pat came with two workers). They did a great job and our rooms look great! They painted the walls, ceilings, trim, and radiators (light sage in the master bedroom and a nice deep blue (Chinese porcelain from PPG) for a soon to be nursery). I just moved into a new home and needed my daughters room painted. I tried to do it myself but the sand painted ceiling became a peeling mess. Painters are so busy right now no one was calling me back. P&J called me back right away and came over that evening. The ceiling was turned perfectly smooth and looks incredible, I'm ready to do the whole house!. The scope of work became much larger when it took several coats of paint to cover the dark blue walls with yellow but Patrick never raised his price even when he needed to buy more materials and the project took twice as long, frankly I feel I owe him double what I paid. Pat & Mike just finished painting the exterior of our house and it loooooks fabuloussssss! We have a beautiful back view and it's a pleasure to sit outside and admire the fresh trim and paint! They showed up on time and did a thorough inspection and had a professional discussion with my husband as to the scope of work needed to do the job. Pat gave us a very reasonable price for painting the exterior of our home. We agreed and signed him up to do the job. His price included the entire exterior, house, trim, windows, and railings. They did a beautiful job and the house looks great. We would absolutely hire them again. They came when promised, and contacted us right away about a delay, a couple days which was fine. I can't say enough about how happy I am with the work that Pat did on our bathroom today. He re-grouted and re-caulked the bathtub and repaired several loose tiles. Pat went above and beyond to remedy water damage he discovered behind the tiles and he removed stickers and old glue from the floor of the tub.
