The building itself is nice and historic but God help you if you have mobility needs. In general trains in Ireland are expensive and at peak hours you could be standing for the entire journey. I spent 5 hours on a train the other day as it broke down. It should have taken one hour. Many people missed flights because of it so I think Ill give it a miss when going to the airport. Location wise its on the Dublin side tucked into a corner in Church Rd so you can avoid the town if your coming from the Dublin or Carlow Rd. There is all day parking next to the train station and also opposite it next to the park.

Upon booking Margaret the owner contacted me to find out the time of my arrival. Upon arriving I was immediately greeted by Margaret. She made me feel so very Welcome. She explained everything about the area , the Bed&Breakfast and showed me my room. My room was so very clean, great bathroom, great bed , television , desk and was just perfect. In the lobby area you have access to coffee, tea, water, milk and biscuits. Absolutely an amazing set up. The next morning I had an amazing full Irish Breakfast. Great Coffee and Toast also. The dinning room is very cozy and very well set up. Both Margaret and her Husband Michael made the breakfast and made sure I had everything I needed. They are very proud of their Bed&Breakfast, Area and genuinely care about their guests. The Bed&Breakfast is located near great restaurants in Mcreddin Village and the beautiful village of Aughrim. It should be noted I am originally from Dublin, Ireland, lived in the United States for over thirty years and served all over the world with the United States Marines all over the world. I personally think this speaks volumes about this establishment! I definitely will return in the near future. Definitely a must visit in County Wicklow, Ireland. This was a self guided tour utilizing a Garmin Zumo that Paul had programmed for the entire trip. He also set up all of our sleeping arrangements alternating between hotels and very nice B&Bs's. Directions were easy to follow and they never left out a point of interest along each days route. We loved every minute of it! Paul rents BWM GS's and the higher end Can-AM spider. Although we are two wheel BMW riders at home we opted for the Can-Am so we could haul more gear and be a bit more comfortable than the GS seat as we ride a 1600B at home. Many days I would have preferred to be on two wheels but the Can-Am was a real pleasure to ride on the one day we had really difficult weather. We absolutely loved this trip. If you are wanting to see " all " of Ireland I can think of no better way to do it! Paul and Liam are serious about setting up your trip the way you want it to be. We can't thank them enough for this epic adventure.
