I'd love to share my experience at Petco, especially thanks to the wonderful cashier, Kayden…read more Kayden took the time to explain how I could save money, and his suggestions were incredibly helpful. He introduced me to the membership plan, and even though it was $25 a month, Kayden showed me how it would save me more in the long run. He was right! Buying my dog food weekly with the membership has saved me a lot. Kayden was patient, thorough, and really made sure I understood all the benefits. Thanks to him, I'm saving money and will definitely keep coming back to this location. Great job, Kayden!

When I picked up our dog from her grooming appointment, she had feces smeared on her backside. The…read morecashier casually said they "just missed it." Another employee told me they had cleaned her multiple times -- which only made it more confusing and frustrating that she was returned to us still in that condition. When my wife called the grooming department, the grooming manager was extremely rude and dismissive. She claimed it was "not her problem" and blamed our dog for being anxious -- as if that excused the fact that this happened under their care. That kind of attitude is completely unprofessional. If a grooming service doesn't believe dogs are their responsibility while in their care, they shouldn't be entrusted with anyone's pet. To make things worse, when I asked to speak with the store manager, I was told she wasn't available and that I'd have to contact another store manager if I wanted to speak with someone -- another way of passing the buck instead of taking accountability. We will never return to Petco for grooming services and strongly recommend that other pet owners take their business elsewhere. Pets deserve care, not excuses and disrespect.

What a horrible place. Incompetence all over the store. Don't try to buy fish there!…read more I wanted to set up a glo-fish tank and for 3 months the fish were under quarantine. We are frequent customers of this location. It hasn't ever been a "bad" experience, they've always…read morebathed and groomed the dogs and that was that. The last time we picked up our German Shepherd she was still wet and the employee said "Jasmine didn't like the dryer today" I brushed it off and thought well Jasmine is a little wild I'll let it slide. I went in last week to get dog food and thought I'd book my pups grooming appointment in person. The worker said it would be a week before she could get to my dogs. She said that it was "only her" now and she's swamped. I didn't think twice about it, I understood it could be busy and or booked up. Today I dropped off my Yorkie and German Shepherd at 10:30am when their appointment was Scheduled. I picked them up 3:30pm, so they had them for 5+ hours. The employee did tell me she "knicked" my Yorkies ear but had put medicine on it to make it clot. I was little confused but the medicine she had applied to her ear was the same color as her skin so it kind of camouflaged the wound apparently. Once I get to the car after going to get the Yorkie first and then my German 2nd i then noticed that my Germans neck and entire back end was wet. Not damp but wet! Get home and look down at my Yorkie eating and notice she was cut on her stomach as well! She was bleeding on her Belly where they had knicked her as well. After that I was pissed! Once sitting on the couch I looked down and noticed my Yorkie's ear. The medicine had obviously rubbed off or warn off and you could see this so called "Knick" very clearly and I was appalled. This was not a Knick it was a serious cut, not to mention another cut on her belly! I paid and tipped a total of $91 for them to cut my Yorkie twice and for my German to come home wet! The German now looks like she needs a groom again because her hair on her back end dried all different ways because she wasn't dried properly. I will not be bringing back my dogs here ever again.

She didn't let me look at the boys outside of the cage, and then didn't allow me to choose the want I wanted. When we got him home, I looked at him to find he has a tumor on his testicles and a really bad respiratory infection. He was also very afraid of me, which leads me to believe they aren't handled often. Beyond the bad condition of the rat, the employees were very loud and were cursing even though I was accompanied by my thirteen year old brother. None of them had masks, and in fact one woman made rude jokes to a man in the store who did have one on. We are in the middle of a pandemic, with cases of a deadly strain on the rise in this area, and I've never felt more unsafe in a store. The owner is relatively nice, but the employees aren't nearly as hospitable to customers or knowledgeable about these animals. I hate to say it, but I'd rather go to Petco. Everything in this store is overpriced anyway; selling things for $20 when I've bought them from Walmart for $9.
