I love the VIP option. They do a great job with my senior Pomeranian. He always comes back to me a clean smelling ball of fur. Their services are very well priced. They offer many different services depending you your pets needs. read more

First off I think the people are great, I think the service they do is excellent and I think it's worth checking out. My only complaint is the way they do business. They work on a first come first serve basis and normally that's not an issue. I've had my dog had service several times and had zero issues. My main gripe is leaving my dog in a kennel for practically all day long. Because it's first come first serve you he is locked in a cage with what I assume no potty breaks and no food. Since I have to practically be there at 7 am apparently half of the city brings in their dogs at the same time and that's an issue. Scheduling an appointment from individual dogs would be the best way to make the clients and the dogs more comfortable. My dog sleeps when I sleep and he doesn't eat allot when he first gets up. So I can imagine how difficult it is on any dog to go without food or drink or potty breaks. This service really needs to be changed to a schedule. Even if I have to schedule once a month for every month I will do that. Chickasha doesn't have any other dog grooming service so I'm at the mercy of buisness read more

Okay... This Review is a bit mixed with me, so bare with me! Amy's Dog grooming, first impression: eh. They weren't very friendly, or really, that helpful when i called, but I heard good things from other people (i have a Pomeranian, so as you can imagine, I can be a bit picky when it comes to her grooming.)so i decided to give it a go. Its located in a pretty easy to find spot, right next to a first national bank and across from a homeland. They had a decent amount of parking. When Marley (my pom) and i walked in, we were greeted with crying and yelping, which, i suppose is normal... but it was REALLY loud.. (poor Marley looked so scared. haha.) We were checked in by a nice girl in scrubs, and quickly. I was informed i could pick my dog up in 6 hours. SIX Hours???? Really?? .... I wasn't expecting such a long wait, since i had made an appointment. (and Amys is by appointment only,...) But I held my tongue and dragged my feet out the door. SIX long hours later, I went to pick up Marley. I paid the fee, and was told to wait. I waited for about 20 minutes for them to finish drying her up. I had to admit, they made me have my doubts. But as soon as Marley came out, I wasn't disappointed. They had cut her hair to pretty much to my exact description, cleaned her teeth, and trimmed her nails free of charge. (which i thought was because of the additional wait) She even had on a cute yellow bandanna, and bows. This was my experience, however, I don't know if that was a mulligan, or if i'd ever take my dog back there again. Here is why... My mother in law has adorable well tempered Shitzu mix, and she too took her dog to Amys. Unlike me, since she lived just out of town, she liked that Amy's kept her for such a long time, since that gave her time to do her shopping and errands. We loved her dogs haircut too, and the adorable pink bandanna they added to her. However... When she got home, She found a dark red scratch on the dogs neck (which the bandanna was convienetly covering??) that wasn't there before. I'm Sure in this, most people would want to be informed if their dog was harmed even to the slightest degree. In finding this out, I decided I personally wasn't ever going to bring my dog back. My mother in law, is way more forgiving then i am, since she decided to give them one more try (since there aren't very many options in a smallish town..). WE found no cuts on her dog, and no harm. and this time was no faster and no slower then the time before. What makes this time different? Her dog actually got a bad hair cut :( For some reason, They decided to shave her TAIL.? WHAT? So... while my mother in law will be forgiving, I wont be. I am giving this two stars only because my dog personally didn't get harmed or a terrible hair cut. read more

I've been taking my Yorke to Amy's for over 4 years and have never had an issue they do have a VIP service that gets your dog in and out quicker have used it once or twice and my yorkie has always come out clean and with a great cut. They are an awesome group of workers and I would say they are hands down the best in town read more

Over 10yrs, I have taken many of my family members of the canine breed, the staff always treats my loved ones with great respect and love. When I pick my babies up, they're always happy, smelling and looking fresh only to come home and roll in our yard lol. When I walked in, I waited for about 5 minutes before anyone came up to greet me. I realize I was at a groomers, but the atmosphere was abnormally loud. The woman who took my dog was rude. I had only brought my dog to have her nails trimmed, so I waited in the small lobby area. I looked through the window to the back to see them put a special collar on Lola's neck and clip her up so her front feet couldn't touch the ground. I'm no expert, but that doesn't seem necessary or healthy for the dogs neck! It made me want to cry. Lola was relatively calm before, but afterward came tugging on her leash to get out of that place. I will not be taking any of my dogs here again. read more

We take our persian cats over to Amy's twice a year for a lion hair cut and they have done great all the times we have taken them! There is an awfully long waiting time but my husband takes them and then runs all over town and then will go to our son's house in Chickasha to wait if he has too! They only charge us $25 per cat and in our books that is not bad! The only reason I gave them 4 stars was for the waiting time but other than that they have been great. read more

Love Amy's I take my dogs there all the time, my mom even brings her Labordoddle from New Mexico to go there. I never make an appointment I just take my dogs in and that gives me a chance to clean up dog hair from my whole house. I took my two dogs the day before my wedding and when they came out they looked great I will keep going even if we move 30 mins away. read more

The app unfortunately doesn't allow no stars. I had to get my baby girl's nails trimmed. She is a 5yr old blue pit (and the world to me). Upon walking in I had to wait 10 minutes. All the yelping was incredibly loud. I wanted to leave because my dog was acting the same way when thunderstorms hit. But she really needed her nails done and couldn't have her chewing her feet. That and they were the only ones available/open at the moment. When someone did come out I said what I needed. They were rude. The lady said pay now as a guy just yanked her leash from me and dragged her through the doors. Then I heard it! My baby really crying like I've never heard before. I offered to help to calm her ( that was a ploy to actually see what was going on behind in the room you cannot see into). They told me I couldn't. Another long painful yelp! I told them just to stop. I'll take her right now because those are not usual yelps from being scared or having to stay behind when you leave, those are sounding to me like she is really being hurt. Just then she was already done and brought back to me. My dog wanted nothing more but to leave. She was dragging me to my car tail between her legs. But I noticed something terribly wrong...BLOOD! Lots of it. They cut her quick (sp?). Every step she took was a red footprint. I started to walk her back to the building and she fought to try and get as far away from every inch we were closer. I had to pick her up and walk in. When I showed them they were once again rude and said something to the extent that my dog wasn't cooperative and not their fault. I then got upset at that point and inquired why wasn't anything done to stop the bleeding if they knew it happened. Reluctantly the same guy came out and applied clotting agent on her paw. She didn't need to drag me to the car this time, we both hurried out of that building and into the car. When we got to the light it was red, so I took a moment to hug her and assure her I will never ever make her go there again. Her facial expression seemed to convey relief and joy to that. Thinking back the whole ordeal was 5minutes behind closed doors and still makes my stomach knot up when I look at her now and see her loving face and can't help but feel guilt that I took her there. read more

I made a appointment for my two yorkies for 9 am I asked how long it woild take they said about 3 hours. Well 4 hours later I called and the said they had a few walk ins come in so it would take a little longer, shouldn't they do the dogs with a appointment first? Well about 3 I called again still not done at 8:30 they called and said they were done, my husband and I was busy so my mom went and got them, when she got there my dogs were wet and the ran straight into the caiges to go home. They told my mom that my female dog had a cataract which she is to young to have one so my mom made them give her a receipt which they refused to do at first. I took her to the vet the next day and said she was poked in the eye and gave us medicine for it. They also smelled worse when they got done then before. Come to find out they had peed in the cage due to not being let out and they didnt even care. I will never take them back there again. Its stupid that I made a appointment and my dogs were there for 11 1/2 hours without food or water or being taking out to use the bathroom!! read more
