The point on the dry cleaning is because I didn't want them washed. The quilts are handmade by my mom. Thankfully her 2 quilts didn't get messed up but mine did. I have a King sized Celtic Knot quilt. It needed cleaned but I could've taken it to a laundry mat to wash it for way less than $35. The green parts on the quilt bled to the white ones because it was washed. The colors are not as bright at all because it was washed. I'm saddened by the customer service I got when picking them up. When I asked about the color bleeding the lady was like "you get what you get"....no. I did not get it dry cleaned. I paid for dry cleaned. Disappointed. I've used Glo several times with no other incidents so I trusted my quilt with them. Not anymore. This is a Springfield MO location

The length of the dress was already fine so no hemming to shorten the dress was requested or necessary. The dress is quite roomy in the arm holes due to being a little large for me. After a seamstress had pinned up the requested changes a different seamstress took my dress to the service counter telling me it would be ready 1 week from today. Me: " That sounds great" There was a small order slip with $65 already written on it. She asked my name and phone number. She wrote my information on that very little slip. Then she says: "That will be $65" Me: "You want me to pay you for work that you have not done and I'm not seeing the fit is even correct for me?" Her: "That's our policy." Me: "Give me my dress back."

One time I needed some jeans hemmed before I went on a hunting trip and they did them while I waited. I am astounding at how they can fix my shirts that see rough use, when I wasn't sure they could fix them. These are skilled artisans, and I think their prices are more than fair. I appreciate how they will always tell me up front how much things will cost, so there are not any surprises. The workers there are always friendly, and are efficient in getting me rung up and out of there quickly. I would highly recommend them to anyone. Also, I have noticed a few reviews complain about cost. My response is 1. Alterations are not based on what you originally paid for the garment. 2. These are highly skilled artisans and deserve to be paid for their skills and knowledge. 3. They give you a price UP FRONT so you get to decide if you want them to do the work. Don't agree to have them do the work then come back and complain the price is too high. Lastly, I have never had a problem with them, but I know they are good people. If there is ever a problem they are more than happy to fix any issues, just communicate with them and they will fix it. They have always been awesome for me, I love this place!

As I waited for a response from the Coast Guard museum that never came, they sent off our family heirloom as an insurance claim and tell me "It's gone. We can't get it back." I was never contacted that they were sending it away. I am devastated. What's more is that Kim Smith, manager, was aggressive, defensive, and only rolled out an apology because I basically asked for it. It was as if they were accusing me when they ruined the banner, didn't offer to promptly compensate for it, then got rid of it with no way to get it back. She also gaslit me saying she called. That did not happen. I also have checked my cellular records for any incoming calls and there are zero. She stood there and lied to me with a lobby full of customers in an aggressive manner. Never. Ever. Trust your possessions at this location. It is not safe.

I noticed they had a big washing machine which i was excited because maybe i could get all of my blankets done in 1 go... $18.00?!?? Just to wash? As i loaded my towels i realized that the detergent area was quite gross, but i mean.. it's a public laundry mat. I didn't mind that. It was after the load started did i notice the build up of green algae and brown and black stains or something on the inside of the rubber. This comes from not cleaning the machines regularly. Which is crazy given the amount i paid to do the load of towels was $6.00, and i haven't dried them yet. I went over to the other side to load my clothes in i see these signs that say "no blankets, no dog begs, shoes ... etc..". which now I'm thinking "wow thats great that they have a separate section for just clothes.. (keep in mind i have my blankets in my cart bc i am waiting for an open washing machine on the other side) the worker, comes to around the dryers and speaks very loudly so that everyone else can hear.. "excuse me, no blankets over there". As a customer i was shocked because how rude is it to embarrass someone because of the lack of context. I called before I came to make sure she had the time as her shop was quite a drive for me. My daughter tried the dress on in her shop and she told me the alterations would be "easy". She assured me it could be done prior to prom, specifically the day before. I called the afternoon before we were scheduled to pick up the dress and she reported it would be ready the next day by 12:00. She did not indicate any hiccups, I clarified the time, the price and which dress we had brought (as she initially had no clue). When we arrived at 12:30 the next day, she hadn't even touched the dress. She had it for a week and didn't communicate any difficulties in meeting the deadline. She tried to blame me for somehow not reading her mind effectively and "bringing in my own fabric", had given us three different price points, and told me to "go buy my daughter a dress that fits". Although she put us in a difficult position, I don't think she is malicious. She is unprofessional and disorganized.

Come here consistently every other week never had an issue before...until today. There are a…read moremillion and one signs about the last WASHING load has to be started by 8:45pm.... okay fine, but there is not a single sign anywhere that says the dryers also shutoff at a certain time... 30 MINUTES BEFORE closing time. Doesn't do me a whole lot of good standing here with a whole load of wet clothes that I just paid to wash when I can't dry them! What a waste, I'll find somewhere else to go every other week then.
